Good Monitor
It's a nice quality monitor. Colours are good. Has adjustable height and viewing angle. It is a bit on the heavy side but it is built well. Handy having the 2 HDMI inputs. Overall happy with the purchase and the service I received from Will at the store

Great for gaming.
My 14 y/o son informs me that this monitor is so much better for gaming than the old computer monitor we had. He says the the graphics are much better and with the curved screen, it provides a much more realistic experience for his gaming.

Things to consider
This monitor prioritises immersive size and contrast over specialist performance, so premium esports models may offer sharper motion tuning and creator displays may provide stronger colour accuracy.
Gaming suitability score
8.8/10 - Strong fit for immersive gaming thanks to its large curved screen, high refresh rate, fast response time and FreeSync support.
Home office fit
Very good for spacious desks, multitasking and long sessions thanks to the large screen and adjustable stand.
Colour accuracy rating
6.8/10 - Good for general use and entertainment, but not the best choice for colour-critical creative work.
Multi-monitor setup compatibility
Moderate - VESA support helps, but the 32-inch curved format is better suited to a primary display than a compact multi-screen array.
Eye comfort score
7.8/10 - The curved screen and ergonomic adjustment support more comfortable viewing, especially on a larger desk.
Key benefits
- 32-inch curved screen: Creates a more immersive field of view that suits gaming, movies and larger desktop setups.
- 1800R curvature: Wraps the image more naturally around your vision for better depth and engagement on a large screen.
- VA panel with 3000:1 contrast ratio: Delivers deeper blacks and stronger shadow detail than many typical office-focused displays.
- 165Hz refresh rate: Keeps fast gameplay looking smoother and more responsive during action-heavy scenes.
- 1ms response time: Helps reduce visible blur during rapid movement for cleaner-looking gameplay.
- AMD FreeSync support: Reduces screen tearing for a more fluid gaming experience when frame rates vary.
- Height and tilt adjustment: Makes it easier to set a more comfortable viewing position for long work or gaming sessions.
- Dual HDMI, DisplayPort and audio line-out: Gives flexible connectivity for multiple devices such as a PC, console or speakers.
Q: Is this Dell monitor 4K or QHD?
A: Dell S3222DGM is a QHD monitor, not a 4K model. Its resolution is 2560 x 1440, which gives a sharper image than Full HD and is a practical match for gaming and general work without the heavier graphics demand of 4K.
Q: Does the S3222DGM have built-in speakers?
A: No. Dell S3222DGM does not include built-in speakers. It has an audio line-out, so headphones or external speakers can be connected, but buyers wanting all-in-one sound will need to factor separate audio into the setup.
Q: Is the Dell S3222DGM G-Sync compatible?
A: No G-Sync certification is listed for Dell S3222DGM. It does support AMD FreeSync to reduce screen tearing in supported gaming setups, so buyers specifically wanting a named G-Sync certified monitor should not assume that from this model.
Q: Can you connect a laptop and console at once?
A: Yes. Dell S3222DGM includes two HDMI ports and one DisplayPort, so multiple devices can stay connected without constant cable swapping. It does not include USB-C, so it is not designed as a one-cable laptop docking monitor.
Q: Will the curved screen suit a small desk setup?
A: It suits larger desks better. The 32 inch screen and curved design are meant for a more immersive viewing position, but on a shallow or compact desk it can feel dominant and leave less space for a keyboard, speakers or paperwork.
Q: Can this monitor be wall mounted or arm mounted?
A: Yes. Dell S3222DGM supports VESA mounting, so it can be used with a compatible wall bracket or monitor arm. That can free up desk space and make positioning easier if the included stand does not suit the workspace layout.
