Nice image. Budget friendly.
Purchased for wife and used as hybrid monitor for gaming and photography. Had the high res specs she wanted for both applications and hasn’t complained about it once. Good value too.

Very nice monitor for the price
The monitor is pretty damn good for the price. Excellent screen and resolution, with a decent refresh rate to boot. They only reason I gave it 4 stars is because 1) the stand isn't adjustable at all, but even worse 2) the stand is really short, so the screen sits very low down. I had to get another stand with a VESA mount on it that was height adjustable so I could match the height of this screen with that of my primary monitor.

Product great, service not so
Overall the tv monitor is great. Works as intended, is sturdy and won’t fall or tip over like our previous one. The price point is good too. Only issue we had was that we had to go the service counter to find someone willing to help. It took her ages to help, and had the attitude that it was an enormous effortt.

Things to consider
While it delivers a strong balance of sharpness and speed, its 300 nit brightness and general feature set are less advanced than premium gaming or colour-critical monitors.
Gaming suitability score
8/10 - 144Hz, 1ms response time and AdaptiveSync make it a solid gaming option, though it is not as advanced as premium esports or HDR-focused models.
Home office fit
Strong fit for home office use thanks to its 27 inch size, sharp QHD workspace, simple styling and adjustable tilt.
Colour accuracy rating
6.5/10 - suitable for everyday work, streaming and general use, but not positioned as a professional colour-critical display.
Multi-monitor setup compatibility
Good - slim design and 100 x 100 VESA support make it practical for dual-screen desk or arm-mounted setups.
Eye comfort score
7/10 - the 27 inch QHD panel supports comfortable everyday viewing, though premium eye-care features are not highlighted.
Key benefits
- 27 inch screen: Gives you a roomy viewing area that suits spreadsheets, documents, web browsing and immersive gaming.
- QHD display: Provides a sharper picture and more desktop space than Full HD for clearer text and finer image detail.
- 144Hz refresh rate: Makes motion look smoother during gaming, scrolling and fast on-screen action.
- 1ms response time: Helps reduce visible blur in fast-moving scenes for a cleaner gaming experience.
- AdaptiveSync support: Reduces screen tearing and stutter when paired with compatible hardware.
- Tilt adjustment from -5° to 21°: Lets you angle the screen more comfortably for long work or gaming sessions.
- 100 x 100 VESA mount support: Makes it easy to wall mount or use with a monitor arm to free up desk space.
- 8 star energy rating: Offers a strong 8 star efficiency rating for lower-energy everyday use.
Q: Can this monitor run QHD at 144Hz over HDMI?
A: Yes. HDMI and DisplayPort both support 2560 x 1440 at 144Hz on this monitor, with HDR and AdaptiveSync support. Your computer, console and cable also need to support that output, or the display will fall back to a lower mode.
Q: Does the stand adjust for height or only tilt?
A: No. Dell SE2726D does not have height adjustment. The stand only tilts from minus 5 to 21 degrees, so a 100 x 100 VESA arm or wall bracket is the better option if you need the screen higher or aligned with another monitor.
Q: Will this work well as one screen for work and gaming?
A: Yes. Dell SE2726D suits mixed use because the 27 inch QHD screen gives more workspace for documents, while 144Hz, 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync support smoother motion in games. The main compromise is the basic stand.
Q: Can I wall mount this Dell 27 QHD monitor?
A: Yes. Dell SE2726D supports a 100 x 100 VESA mount, so it can go on a compatible wall bracket or monitor arm. That is useful if you want to free desk space or get more height flexibility than the tilt-only stand provides.
Q: Is the Dell SE2726D suitable for bright home office rooms?
A: Dell SE2726D has 300 nits peak brightness, which is suitable for most rooms with normal daylight. In a setup facing a sunny window, reflections can still be more noticeable, so placement matters as much as the panel brightness.
Q: What does the 8 star energy rating mean here?
A: Dell SE2726D has an 8 star energy rating. A higher star rating generally means lower running costs than other 27 inch monitors with a lower rating, though actual use still depends on your brightness setting and daily hours.
