- 65W Power Delivery: Charges most USB-C laptops at full speed for efficient productivity.
- GaN Technology: Delivers high efficiency and reduced heat output compared to traditional silicon chargers.
- Ultra-Compact Design: Easily fits in laptop bags or backpacks for convenient portability.
- Universal USB-C Compatibility: Works with a wide range of laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
- 230V Support: Optimised for Australian mains voltage and frequency.

- Detachable Cable: Allows for easy replacement and flexible cable management.
Q: Will this charge a 45W laptop safely and properly?
A: Yes. USB-C Power Delivery lets the charger negotiate the power your device asks for, so a 45W laptop can draw what it needs rather than the full 65W. The key limit is that the laptop must support charging over USB-C.
Q: What happens if my laptop normally uses more than 65W?
A: If your laptop asks for more than 65W, this charger is not the right match for full-speed charging. It may charge slowly, hold battery level during light use, or fall behind under heavier workloads on larger performance laptops.
Q: Can this Cygnett charger power two devices at once?
A: No. This charger is designed around a single USB-C charging connection, so it suits one laptop, tablet or phone at a time. If you need to charge multiple USB-C devices together, a multi-port charger will be more practical.
Q: Does the Cygnett charger include a cable in the box?
A: Yes. Cygnett PowerMaxx has an integrated 1-metre USB-C cable, so no separate charging cable is needed for normal use. If you use another USB-C cable with it, choose one rated for 65W or higher to reach full output.
Q: Can I use this charger with a USB-C phone?
A: Yes. It can charge USB-C phones and tablets that support USB-C Power Delivery, because it steps down to the level the device requests. Fast-charge behaviour still depends on the phone or tablet supporting USB-C PD.
Q: Why choose GaN in a laptop charger like this?
A: GaN lets the charger stay more compact than older silicon designs while still delivering laptop-level USB-C power. That makes it easier to carry in a bag or keep on a desk, but it does not add extra ports or change compatibility.
