Good size
Fits a decent amount for a compact fridge, separate/dedicated freezer is an excellent feature. Good for parties and entertainment areas, or a granny flat.

Solid, Dependable Performer
We have purchased this fridge across multiple houses and locations for our business. It is our standard go to, as it marries a comfortable, and sufficient size with a separate freezer- not too big as full-sized fridges, not too small like bar fridges. They have performed well over the past few years. Our only qualm is that the plastic lips of various shelves then to crack over time, necessitating a full replacement with the glass. They will last about 3 years before cracking and flaking off. Having said that- we still go fro Chiq and this model. Excellent value for money, and performance.

Would definitely recommend!
I really wasn’t sure at first. Especially since I haven’t owned a manual defrost refrigerator before. But I’m pleasantly surprised how good it is. And wonderfully surprised how much more I can fit in it than expected. I was concerned the freezer part would be way too small, as I use the freezer a lot more than the fridge. But I was able to fit almost everything in it that was in my old freezer. Grateful it turned out to be a happy purchase!!!
Steeringly!

Perfect little fridge/freezer
We bought this for mum's nursing home room. It is small enough to fit nicely, but large enough on the inside for her favourite drinks and bits and pieces.

- Reversible door: Gives you more flexibility when positioning the fridge in tighter rooms or awkward layouts.
- Adjustable tempered glass shelves: Makes it easier to fit taller bottles or rearrange space for different container sizes.
- Manual temperature control: Lets you adjust cooling settings simply to suit changing contents or seasons.
- Top mount design: Keeps frozen foods easy to access while separating fresh and frozen storage clearly.
- 3 star energy rating: Offers moderate energy efficiency with a 3 star rating, suitable for everyday compact refrigeration.
- 3 year manufacturer's warranty: Adds peace of mind for long-term everyday use.
Q: Is this fridge big enough for one person or overflow use
A: Yes. CHiQ CTM118DW has 118L total capacity, with 85L for fresh food and 33L in a separate freezer. That suits one person, or overflow drinks and essentials, but it is not sized for bulk shopping or a larger household.
Q: Is this better as a main fridge or a secondary fridge
A: For most buyers, this size works best as a main fridge for one person, or as a second fridge for drinks and extra groceries. The compact capacity is practical for tight spaces, but it is limited if more than one person relies on it every day.
Q: Can the door be changed to open from the other side
A: Yes. The CHiQ CTM118DW has a reversible door, so the hinge can be set to suit the side that works best in your room. It comes right-hinged, which matters if you want to use it immediately without changing the door swing first.
Q: Does the freezer have a separate compartment or just an ice box
A: It has a separate top-mount freezer, not just a small ice box inside the fridge section. The CHiQ CTM118DW gives you 33L of dedicated freezer space, which is more practical for frozen meals and ice, though still compact for heavy freezer use.
Q: How flexible are the shelves for tall bottles or meal containers
A: The shelves are adjustable tempered glass, so the fridge section can be reconfigured for taller bottles or stacked containers. That helps in a compact layout, but moving shelves around does not increase the 85L fresh-food capacity itself.
Q: How efficient is this fridge for everyday running costs
A: CHiQ CTM118DW has a 3 star energy rating. In this compact fridge class, a higher-starred model of similar capacity would generally cost less to run, while this one balances basic efficiency with a simple entry-level feature set.
