Quality Toner
Have used this genuine brother toner for several years. Better quality printing than with the recycled toner I used on my previous printer. Lasts longer. Even better value when I purchase it on special.

Great Value for money
I like the fact that even though the cartridge drum costs a lot to purchase, for how long the ink lasts it's good value. You actually save money and you don't need to buy the ink often.

Q: Is the TN-2450 a toner cartridge or a drum unit?
A: The Brother TN-2450 is a black toner cartridge, not a drum unit. It is the consumable that supplies toner for printing, so it is the right replacement when prints are fading but it does not replace the printer's separate drum component.
Q: Which Brother printers are confirmed to use the TN-2450?
A: Brother TN-2450 is listed for HLL2350DW, HLL2375DW, HLL2395DW, MFCL2710DW, MFCL2713DW, MFCL2730DW and MFCL2750DW. It is not a universal Brother toner, so match the printer model exactly before buying.
Q: Why might this toner not reach 3000 pages at home?
A: Brother TN-2450 is rated for 3000 pages under ISO/IEC 19752 test conditions. Real-world yield can be lower if documents use heavier black coverage, large graphics or frequent short print jobs, so the rating is a benchmark rather than a guarantee.
Q: Will it work in every Brother HL-L or MFC-L printer?
A: No. Brother TN-2450 is only listed for selected HL-L and MFC-L models, not the full ranges. A Brother printer that looks similar or shares part of the series name can still take a different cartridge, so the exact model number matters.
Q: Can this cartridge print colour pages or black only?
A: This cartridge prints black only. Brother TN-2450 is designed for monochrome Brother laser printers, so it suits text documents, invoices and reports but it will not add colour printing to a black-and-white printer.
Q: Is TN-2450 a good choice for heavy daily office printing?
A: Brother TN-2450 suits regular document printing in a home office or small business, with a 3000-page yield under ISO/IEC 19752 conditions. For very heavy daily output, more frequent cartridge changes may make a higher-yield option more practical.
