Practice quote easy pie making in the machine fill everything put in there and you get to go. I use it to make a vegetarian pie as well as an Indian we call it (Puff).

Quick & easy to use
Handy for quick snacks both sweet and & savoury. Much quicker than using an oven & the results are pretty good. Something to note, the pastry doesn’t puff up as nicely as a regular oven but for the speed & convenience, it still makes some tasty snacks. If I was making sausage rolls for a crowd I would still use my oven because I can make two large trays at once & with better puff & appearance. But if you want something quick for 2 or 4 people then it is really handy. Great with leftovers like taco mince etc. We have made sausage rolls, fruit pies & used different leftovers & also used bread with savoury fillings & they all have turned out great. Still experimenting, but one of the advantages of this model is you can use frozen pastry sheets & they are the perfect size, ,there’s no need to cut. For best results defrost the pastry so you can easily fill the pockets. I don’t preheat as I think the bottom would over cook by the time I had filled & topped & then baked . Really simple to use & clean up is pretty easy.

Disappointed
I was really excited to use this based on other reviews and loved the fact that you can use a whole sheet of pastry without any wastage but unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment. I have tried to fill the pies with different amounts of filling but they seem to leak out of the pies regardless of the amount and they just end up becoming a bunch of sad, deflated and half empty pies.

The best pie maker
I previously had a round pie maker that wasted a lot of pastry and was fiddly - this one fits the entire sheet of puff pastry on it, no cutting or messing around and it cooks them brilliantly, then they just snap apart! Perfectly shaped for eating on the run too! I’ve made both sweet and savory pies in this and it will get an absolute workout in the winter! Wish I’d bought this sooner.
