I'm very happy with the purchase. The Bosch dishwasher is all you'd expect: efficient cleaner, easy to use, quiet. The only drawback is the chemical smell that comes when I open the door.. It is very strong and triggers a reaction. It seems to pervade every room in the house. I've had the dishwasher a week now and run it every day, at least once, and leave the door open in between to air. While the smell isn't quite as severe as it was on the first day, it still causes a problem. Online comments suggest it should clear in a couple of weeks. I live in hope. If it wasn't for the smell, I'd rate it 5 stars. It is good and the door makes a satisfying clunk when it closes..

Overall a Great Machine
Overall a great dishwasher, plenty of space and a bonus that its got a cutlery tray and a utensils draw. Its rated as one of the best drying dishwashers and dies well most of the time but not 100%. Having said that for $1400 I couldn't justify the extra 1k for one that dries better. Love the fact that you can angle everything in the top draw so it doesn't hold water. Could do with some extra coated wire supports in the bottom rack so drink bottles and large cups don't fall through. In the end it's nice and quiet which is a bonus.
