    Stylish good looks!

I swapped my old 60cm cooktop for a 75cm and I wasn't disappointed. The centre wok burner is perfect for my paella pan. It also has a great safety feature that it won't leak gas if the flame goes out. Cleaning is a breeze with the glass surface and the removable magnetic knobs. This really is a awesome cooktop.

    Stylish good looks!

I must say I'm very impressed with my new cooktop. I went from a 60cm to the new Bosch 75cm and I just love it! So happy I went up in size. The wok burner was perfect for my paella pan. Cooks so well and also has the extra safety that it won't leak gas if not lit which is a great safety feature . Super easy to clean with the glass surface and removable magnetic knobs.

Key benefits

  • Tempered Glass Surface: Easy to wipe clean and resists stains for a sleek look.
  • Five Gas Burners: Offers flexibility for simultaneous cooking of multiple dishes.
  • Wok Burner: Provides high heat output for authentic stir-frying and fast cooking.
  • Flame Failure Safety: Automatically shuts off gas supply if flame goes out.
  • Front Controls: Ergonomic placement for easy access and precise adjustment.
  • Continuous Cast Iron Pan Supports: Stable surface for pots and pans, accommodates large cookware.
  • 75cm Width: Fits most standard kitchen benchtops, maximising cooking space.
  • Elegant Black Finish: Complements contemporary kitchen aesthetics.

Q: Is the black tempered glass surface harder to keep clean than a stainless steel gas cooktop?

A: No. Tempered glass usually wipes clean quickly because spills sit on a smooth surface, but black glass can show fingerprints, dust and streaks more readily than brushed stainless steel. Burnt-on residue still needs prompt cleaning around the burners.

Q: Will a 75cm Bosch gas cooktop fit into the same space as a standard 60cm cooktop?

A: No. A 75cm cooktop is wider than a standard 60cm model, so it normally needs a larger benchtop cut-out and more clearance around it. Measure the current opening and compare it with the Bosch cut-out diagram before ordering. Discuss with your plumber.

Q: Why choose a tempered glass gas cooktop instead of an induction cooktop?

A: The main reason is cooking style. Gas gives visible flame control and works with a wider range of cookware, while induction offers a cooler surface and faster wipe-downs. This Bosch suits buyers who prefer flame cooking over electric-only operation.

Q: Does a black glass gas cooktop show scratches or wear more easily over time?

A: Black glass can make dust, greasy marks and fine surface wear more noticeable in bright light, but it does not rust and it keeps a clean, flush look. Using flat-based cookware and avoiding dragging heavy pans helps reduce visible marking.
