Upgrade from my 2000s oven and what a difference it has made. Easy to use settings. Yet to use the self-cleaning setting but no doubt it will beat using nasty chemicals.

Oven cooling system is not well engineered, blows hot air into the kitchen.

I really wish I could return this oven, it is so badly engineered. It heats up the kitchen more than any other oven we've had. After much arguing with Bosch, we finally got a repair person, who said it hadn't been installed properly. Still waiting for the installer favored by Good Guys to come. Much time-wasting back and forth over the telephone. We bought this oven more than two months ago, and still do not have a functioning oven. Not happy!!

I love the look of the oven and the way the buttons close, but it is difficult to read the mark on the dial when you are trying to dial the temperature.

This oven was bought to replace our old oven. I thought our old oven was fine, after installing this I cannot believe what we were missing. Very hot, lots of functions. Great oven!

The Bosch oven is fantastic. I have had a Bosch oven before and it is a great product and I love the pyrolitic feature.

The below information is AI generated based on Australian websites information around this item. We have done our best to ensure its accuracy but suggest verifying any information within this tab before purchasing.
This 60cm Bosch pyrolytic oven is a strong mid-range choice for households that want reliable everyday baking, roasting and grilling in a roomy 71L cavity. It suits families and regular home cooks with features like 3D Hotair, pizza setting and easy pyrolytic cleaning. Its main limitation is that it keeps to practical rotary controls and core cooking modes rather than more advanced premium automation.
It focuses on dependable core cooking performance and easy cleaning, but it is less premium in control style and advanced automation than higher-end ovens with touch interfaces and expanded assisted cooking options.
High - the 71L cavity, five shelf positions and full-width grill suit family-sized cooking and batch preparation.
9/10 - pyrolytic cleaning greatly reduces scrubbing, with residue left as ash after the cleaning cycle.
6/10 - no Australian Energy Rating information is provided, and pyrolytic cleaning cycles are typically more energy-intensive than standard oven cleaning.
8/10 - strong for regular roasting, baking, grilling and pizza, though it is aimed more at practical everyday cooking than specialist advanced techniques.
About average - no low-noise claim is provided, so it is best viewed as typical for a built-in pyrolytic oven.
A: The main compromise is simplicity. Bosch HBA574EB3A covers everyday baking, roasting, grilling and pizza well, but it does not add steam cooking, a food probe or the broader mode selection found in more feature-heavy ovens.
A: Yes. Bosch HBA574EB3A uses 3D Hotair to circulate heat through the 71L cavity, which suits multi-shelf baking and batch cooking. It is designed for consistent results across levels, though tray position and recipe still affect browning.
A: No. The pyrolytic cycle burns baked-on food residue inside the oven cavity to ash, so cleanup is mostly a wipe-down after the oven cools. It reduces heavy scrubbing, but it does not turn every cooking mess into a fully hands-free clean.
A: Bosch HBA574EB3A has a quadruple glazed CoolTouch door, which helps keep the outside cooler than the oven interior during cooking and pyrolytic cleaning. The door is not cold, so some surface warmth during high-heat use is still normal.
A: Yes. Like other built-in ovens, Bosch HBA574EB3A vents heat during cooking and during the pyrolytic cycle. The insulated door helps contain heat at the front, but some warm air around the oven and nearby cabinetry area is normal.
A: Yes. Bosch HBA574EB3A has a 71L oven cavity, five shelf positions and a full-width grill, so it suits roasts, batch baking and larger dishes. It is a standard 60cm built-in oven, not an extra-wide format for very high-volume cooking.
A: Yes. The electronic timer lets you program cooking end times, which is useful when dinner needs to be ready later in the day. It is a timer-based oven rather than a smart connected model, so control happens from the fascia only.
