Good & bad
Bought 2 - one is working fine with good video quality while the other stopped working after 10 minutes (video went all fuzzy so couldn't see any detail) hence the three stars! Will be returning to the store for a replacement once lockdown lifts.

Quick and Affordable
Was able to do click and collect for two fo these cams to help my home schooling children who dont have in built cameras for Zoom lessons. They plug into the USB port and have a clip to attach to the top of a laptop.

Basic viewing
Was the middle of the range webcam - works ok but probably would have preferred a bir better quality - the store was short on variety at the time of purchase.

Gaming vs office fit
Best suited to office, study and general communication use rather than dedicated gaming or streaming setups.
Audio/video quality score

Key benefits
- Clip-On Mount: Attaches securely to laptops and external monitors for a simple, space-saving setup.
- Tilt And Rotate Adjustment: Helps you position the camera more naturally for hands-free calls and meetings.
- USB 2.0 Connection: Offers a straightforward wired connection for quick everyday setup.
- Wide Device Compatibility: Works with Windows, Mac and Android for flexible use across common devices.
- Built-In LED Lights: Helps improve visibility in dim rooms during calls or online classes.
- Auto Image Adjustment: Adapts image settings automatically to support clearer day-to-day video calls.
- Adjustable Digital Microphone: Supports everyday voice pickup for meetings, classes and casual calls.
- Up To 30fps Video Capture: Delivers smoother, more natural-looking motion for regular video chats.
Q: Is this webcam mainly for meetings or casual streaming too
A: Bonelk USB Webcam Clip On - 1080p suits both, with Full HD video for calls and casual streams. It is better matched to everyday meetings and simple content than polished streaming setups that need manual image control or autofocus.
Q: Will the built in microphone be enough for daily work calls
A: Yes. The built-in digital microphone is suitable for everyday calls and online meetings in a quieter room. In a busy office or shared study area, a separate headset or USB mic usually gives clearer voice pickup and less background noise.
Q: How well does this webcam cope in a dim room
A: It is designed for dim indoor use, with built-in LED lights and automatic image adjustment to improve visibility. It can help in a darker home office, but it will not replace proper room lighting or studio-style image control.
Q: Can the clip mount fit both laptops and external monitors
A: Yes. The clip-on mount is made for laptops and external monitors, with tilt and rotate adjustment to help frame the shot. It works best on a flat screen edge that gives the clip a stable grip, rather than unusually thick or curved housings.
Q: Does the Bonelk ELK-63022-R have autofocus for moving around on camera
A: No. Bonelk USB Webcam Clip On - 1080p has auto image adjustment, but autofocus is not part of its listed features. It is best used from a steady desk position, rather than moving close to the lens during a call.
Q: Will it work with Android phones and tablets over USB
A: Yes, with compatible Android devices that support external USB webcams. Bonelk USB Webcam Clip On - 1080p also works with Windows and Mac, but the exact adapter or app support on Android can vary by device.
