Used this to simply have another HDMI port. Lasted two months, then echanged for a new one. The second one also stopped working within a short time...

Does the job
I purchased this hub to add an extra display to my set up and it worked as expected. Reasonably priced. I had a screen already attached to my laptop using the HDMI and wanted to add a 2nd display, hence needed something that could be connected using USB C. The only drawback is heating. The hub can get very hot particularly if you use the charging port as well. I hope this is fixed in newer models.
