Product is good but the online purchasing isn't smooth
The product is as described. It does want I need it to do which is to provide extra slots for my external screens. However, the issue i faced was not with the product but with trying to purchase it online. I typically like to use Paypal where I can when shopping online. The online checkout provides for a Paypal option. It doesn't work. To complete the purchase, I had to use my credit card.

Nice USB Hub!
Good selection of ports and the passthrough charging is a nice feature! One thing that could be better with it is having a better HDMI port for 4k 60hz but they dont claim it to have that.

At a glance
The Bonelk Long-Life USB-C to 6 in 1 Multiport Hub is a compact connectivity adapter for laptops, tablets and compatible smartphones that need more ports from a single USB-C connection. It is well suited to remote workers, students and travellers thanks to its HDMI output, USB-A ports and 100W pass-through charging. Its main limitation is that external display support tops out at 4K at 30Hz rather than smoother 4K 60Hz.

Compatible with USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 MacBook, Chromebook, Windows computers, smartphones and tablets
Desk clutter reduction score
8/10 - combines display, charging and accessory ports into one compact hub to reduce cable swapping at a desk
Work-from-home suitability
8/10 - well suited to home office users needing a monitor connection, USB peripherals and charging from one USB-C port
Port expansion rating
7/10 - offers a useful everyday mix of HDMI, USB-C PD, USB-C and 3 USB-A ports, though it is not as extensive as larger desktop docks
Travel friendliness
9/10 - compact design and included carry pouch make it easy to pack for commuting, travel and hot-desking
Key benefits
- 6-in-1 design: Adds display, charging and accessory connections through one USB-C port for a simpler workstation setup.
- 4K HDMI output: Connects an external monitor or TV for presentations, streaming or extra screen space up to 4K at 30Hz.
- Full HD 1080p at 60Hz support: Delivers smoother motion on compatible displays for everyday work and video playback.
- 100W USB-C power delivery pass-through: Helps keep a compatible laptop or tablet charged while the hub is in use.
- Three USB-A 3.0 ports: Lets you connect common accessories such as a mouse, keyboard, storage drive or USB headset at the same time.
- Up to 5Gbps data transfer: Moves files faster than older USB standards for everyday backups and document transfers.
- Broad device compatibility: Works with compatible USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 laptops, tablets and smartphones across major platforms.
- Portable form with carry pouch: Packs neatly into a bag for commuting, travel or moving between desks.
Q: Does this hub support 4K at 60Hz on HDMI?
A: No. Bonelk ELK-80030-R supports HDMI output at 4K at 30Hz, or Full HD 1080p at 60Hz. It suits everyday office work, streaming and presentations, but it is not the right choice if 4K at 60Hz is the goal.
Q: Can it charge my laptop while the hub is connected?
A: Yes. Bonelk ELK-80030-R supports USB-C power delivery pass-through at 100W when a compatible USB-C charger is connected to the hub. It is designed to keep a supported laptop or tablet powered while the other ports remain in use.
Q: Will this work with a USB-C phone or tablet?
A: Yes, with compatible models. Bonelk ELK-80030-R works with supported USB-C smartphones and tablets as well as laptops. HDMI display output still depends on the device supporting video over USB-C, so not every phone will use the screen port.
Q: Can I connect a monitor, keyboard and storage drive together?
A: Yes. Bonelk ELK-80030-R has one HDMI port, three USB-A 3.0 ports and one USB-C data port, so it can handle a typical desk setup from one USB-C connection. It is aimed at everyday accessories rather than heavier dock-style expansion.
Q: Is this hub suitable for dual-monitor setups?
A: No. Bonelk ELK-80030-R has one HDMI video output, so it is intended for a single external display rather than a dual-monitor dock. Buyers needing two separate monitor connections should choose a hub or dock with multiple display outputs.
Q: How fast can files transfer through the USB ports?
A: Bonelk ELK-80030-R supports data transfer speeds of 5Gbps through its USB-A 3.0 and USB-C data connections when paired with compatible devices and storage. Actual transfer speed also depends on the drive, cable and host device in use.
