Terrific product
I was very doubtful about the fit of these pads as they were not specifically for my brand of steam mop. However, they have obviously been made to be generic in their fit and method of attachment (velcro), so worked well for me. After use they are easy to wash and dry . Very happy .

At a glance
A practical 2 pack of reusable rectangular steam mop pads for households with compatible BLACK & DECKER steam mops. They suit everyday hard-floor cleaning, combining microfibre pickup with nylon scrubbing fibres and washable reuse up to 60°C. The main strength is easy maintenance and simple fitment, but they only suit selected rectangular-head models rather than a wide range of mop types.

Things to consider
These pads are designed for selected BLACK & DECKER rectangular-head steam mops, so they are less versatile than universal or specialist heavy-scrub replacement pads.
Model compatibility assessment
Designed for BLACK & DECKER FSM1600, FSM1610, FSM1620, FSM1630 and FSMH162 steam mops with a rectangular head.
Pet hair cleaning boost
6/10 - useful for picking up light pet hair from hard floors, but not a specialist pet-hair attachment.
Allergy suitability enhancement
7/10 - washable microfibre pads can support cleaner hard floors, but performance depends on regular washing and steam mop use.
Durability score
7/10 - reusable microfibre and nylon construction should handle regular household use when washed as directed up to 60°C.
Key benefits
- Reusable Pad Design: Washable pads help reduce ongoing replacement needs compared with single-use alternatives.
- Microfibre Cleaning Surface: Helps lift everyday dirt and grime from sealed hard floors.
- Nylon Scrubbing Fibres: Adds extra scrubbing action for stuck-on marks during routine floor cleaning.
- Velcro Fastening: Makes attaching and removing pads quick and straightforward between cleaning tasks.
- Rectangular Shape: Better suited to reaching corners and edges than round pad designs.
- 30 x 16 cm Pad Size: Matches compatible rectangular mop heads for a more reliable fit.
- Washable Up To 60°C: Supports hygienic cleaning and regular reuse after floor care sessions.
- Two-Pack Convenience: Gives you a spare pad ready for longer cleaning sessions or wash rotation.
Q: Will these pads fit my BLACK & DECKER rectangular steam mop
A: Yes, if your mop has a rectangular head and is one of these listed models: FSM1600, FSM1610, FSM1620, FSM1630 or FSMH162. The hook-and-loop backing is shaped for that head style, so round or triangular heads are not a match.
Q: Are these mop pads compatible with other steam mop brands
A: No brand-to-brand fit is listed for these pads. They are made for selected BLACK & DECKER rectangular-head steam mops, so a different brand may attach if the head is similar, but the fit and floor coverage are not guaranteed.
Q: Can I use these pads on laminate or timber floors
A: Yes, they suit sealed hard floors such as laminate, vinyl and tile. On timber, use them only on sealed surfaces and follow the steam mop maker's floor guidance, because unsealed or moisture-sensitive floors can be damaged by steam.
Q: What size steam mop head do these replacement pads suit
A: These replacement pads measure 30 x 16cm and are shaped for a rectangular mop head. That size helps with edge and corner coverage, but it also means they are not the right choice for compact, round or triangular head designs.
Q: How do these pads handle stuck-on marks and everyday dirt
A: These pads combine microfibre for everyday dirt pickup with nylon fibres for extra scrubbing on stuck-on marks. They are intended for regular hard-floor cleaning, but heavy grime may still need slower passes or a fresh pad during the job.
Q: Can the BLACK & DECKER pads be machine washed and reused
A: Yes, the BLACK & DECKER pads can be washed at up to 60 degrees C and reused. That makes them a practical replacement for disposable pads, but washing hotter than that can shorten pad life or affect the hook-and-loop backing.
