WoW
Very happy with this purchase. I was looking at a differnt model but when the sales person showed me this and gave me a good price. I was very happy! The cleaner included sample chemicals so i could work out what was best for my rugs and carpet. Very light to move around the home without moving all the furniture. The spot cleaning attachment super great for tough stains and my car.

Does a great job
I love the way this carpet cleaner sucks up most of the water back out of the carpet or rugs leaving them damp but not soaking wet.

Excellent Vacuum Cleaner
Great Vacuum Cleaner, strong suction, it compares equally to a Kirby or a Vortex, which are both very expensive machines and parts for both of these machines are more expensive than the Bissel Revolution Pet Cleaner itself. I decided to go to a less expensive vacuum for the others are just too expensive and a waste of money, the expensive vacuums do not last any longer and I look after my vacuums and keep them clean after every use. I am very happy with the Bissel, it does an excellent job. Yes I would recommend the Bissel Revolution Pet Cleaner to anyone looking for a good vacuum cleaner with a very good price range.

This cleaner is a game changer for us, having dark carpet and pets. It is easy to use and gives fantastic results every time we use it we are amazed at how clean the carpets and rugs look. The accessory kit is also a great addition, easy to use and connect and great for cleaning car seats, and lounges etc, gives fabulous results! We couldn't be happier!

At a glance
The Bissell Revolution Pet is a mid-range upright carpet cleaner built for homes with pets, offering whole-room carpet washing plus tools for stairs and upholstery. Its large 3.7 L tanks, 800 W motor and Express Clean mode make it practical for regular deep cleans. It suits households wanting strong pet mess performance without moving to a heavier specialist machine. The main limitation is that it is not the lightest option for frequent carrying.
What it’s great for
- Pet stain cleaning
- Whole-room carpet washing
- Rug cleaning
- Upholstery cleaning
- Regular deep cleaning
Where it works best
- Family homes
- Pet households
- Carpeted living rooms
- Bedrooms
- Stairs and upholstery touch-up areas
Who it’s for
- Pet owners
- Families
- Homeowners with mostly carpeted floors
- Households doing regular maintenance cleaning
Things to consider
At 7.9 kg, it is still a reasonably bulky upright cleaner, so it is less convenient for frequent lifting or compact storage than lighter spot cleaners or more premium lightweight models.
Pet stain removal score
8.5/10 - purpose-built for pet homes, with deep cleaning power and tools for upholstery and stairs.
Large area suitability
Very good for whole-room carpet cleaning in medium to larger household spaces.
Ease of use
7.5/10 - upright format, long cord and large tanks are practical, but the 7.9 kg body is less nimble than lighter alternatives.
Drying time rating
8/10 - Express Clean mode can dry carpets in about 30 minutes in warm, ventilated conditions.
Key benefits
- Pet-focused cleaning: Designed to help remove pet stains and odours from carpets, rugs and fabric upholstery.
- Whole-room upright design: Better suited to cleaning larger carpeted areas than a small spot cleaner.
- 3.7 L clean tank: Lets you cover more area before stopping to refill.
- 3.7 L dirty tank: Reduces how often you need to empty recovered dirty water during a full-room clean.
- 7.62 m cord: Gives useful reach across rooms with fewer power point changes.
- Express Clean mode: Can help carpets dry in about 30 minutes in warm, ventilated conditions.
- Included hose and tools: Makes it easier to clean stairs, upholstery and above-floor pet messes.
- 800 W motor: Provides the power needed for routine deep carpet cleaning in busy homes.
Q: Is this upright cleaner better for whole rooms than a spot cleaner
A: Yes. Bissell Revolution Pet is built for whole-room carpet washing, with an upright design, a 7.62m cord and 3.7L clean and dirty tanks. It covers larger areas with fewer stops, but it is bulkier than a small spot cleaner.
Q: Will it leave carpets soaked after cleaning
A: No. Bissell Revolution Pet is designed to recover dirty water as it cleans, so carpet should be left damp rather than saturated. In Express Clean mode, drying can take about 30 minutes in warm, well-ventilated conditions.
Q: How practical is the 7.9kg weight for stairs and storage
A: Bissell Revolution Pet can be moved between rooms, but 7.9kg is still more to carry and store than a compact spot cleaner. The hose and included tools help on stairs and upholstery, so the main unit does not need to sit on every step.
Q: Do the tanks need frequent refilling on bigger carpeted areas
A: No. The 3.7L clean tank and 3.7L dirty tank are sized to reduce stops during room cleaning. How often you refill or empty them still depends on the area and how dirty the carpet is, especially on heavy pet messes.
Q: Can it clean pet messes on stairs and fabric furniture
A: Yes. Bissell Revolution Pet includes hose tools for stairs and fabric upholstery, so it is not limited to floor-level carpet only. It is suited to above-floor pet messes, but it is still a carpet washer, not a dry vacuum for hard surfaces.
Q: What cleaning formula should be used with the Revolution Pet
A: Bissell Revolution Pet is designed for use with compatible BISSELL formulas when tackling stains and odours. Those formulas are the documented choice for this machine, so using a different solution may not give the same cleaning result.
