Just what I needed for my bissell pet pro vacuum mop. My old one was looking worse for wear. This one was also fairly affordable. Very happy!

At a glance
The Bissell CrossWave Pet Tangle Free Brush Roll is a replacement vacuum attachment for selected corded CrossWave models, built for homes with pets and mixed flooring. It helps lift hair and debris from sealed hard floors and area rugs while reducing hair wrap for easier upkeep. Soft bristles are gentler on surfaces and the roll is easy to clean by hand. Its main limitation is that compatibility is limited to selected CrossWave models only.

Things to consider
This brush roll is designed for selected corded Bissell CrossWave models, so it is less versatile than more universal or specialist attachment options.
Pet owner suitability
9/10 - well suited to homes with pets thanks to its pet-hair focus and reduced hair-wrap design.
Surface versatility score
8/10 - works across sealed hard floors and area rugs, covering common mixed-floor households.
Vacuum model compatibility
Compatible with selected Bissell CrossWave corded models: 2225F, 2223H, 1713K, 1713F, 2224D and 2203F.
Ease of attachment
8/10 - straightforward replacement on compatible CrossWave models, but not suitable for machines outside the listed range.
Key benefits
- Tangle Free Design: Helps reduce hair wrap during cleaning, making the brush roll easier to maintain in pet homes.
- Pet Hair Pickup: Soft bristles help lift pet hair and everyday debris from floors and rugs.
- Mixed Surface Use: Suitable for sealed hard floors and area rugs, so you can clean more than one common surface type with the same roll.
- Surface-Friendly Bristles: Soft bristles are designed to clean while being gentler on finished floor surfaces.
- Easy Hand Cleaning: The brush roll can be cleaned by hand without complicated maintenance steps.
- Quick Drying: Dries quickly after cleaning, helping it get back into regular use sooner.
- Direct Replacement Fit: Made for selected Bissell CrossWave corded models for straightforward replacement.
Q: Is this brush roll compatible with every Bissell CrossWave model?
A: No. This 2519 brush roll is made for selected corded CrossWave models, not every CrossWave machine. It may not suit cordless, HF2 or other variants unless that exact model is listed as compatible for this replacement part.
Q: Is the Bissell 2519 brush roll a genuine replacement part?
A: Yes. This is a genuine Bissell replacement brush roll for compatible corded CrossWave models, which is important for correct fit and normal cleaning performance. Match the machine model carefully before buying, as CrossWave parts are not universal.
Q: Can this CrossWave brush roll clean both hard floors and rugs?
A: Yes. As a multi-surface brush roll, it is designed for homes that move between sealed hard floors and area rugs with a compatible CrossWave. It is a more flexible choice than a floor-specific roll if you regularly clean mixed surfaces.
Q: What does tangle free mean on this Bissell CrossWave brush roll?
A: It means the brush roll is designed to reduce hair wrap during cleaning, which is especially useful in pet homes. It can cut down the amount of hair caught around the roll, but long hair and heavy build-up may still need occasional removal.
Q: Is this the same as a hard floor only CrossWave brush?
A: No. This is a multi-surface tangle free brush roll, so it is aimed at mixed cleaning rather than hard floors alone. If most cleaning is on sealed hard flooring, a dedicated hard floor roll may be a more targeted option if compatible.
