This fabulous piece of kit not only charges my phone, but also allows me too access the thousands of music I have stored on my iPhone. The salesman I dealt with was knowledgeable , fantastic and even came out to show me how to get it set up in my car and working

Q: Does this adaptor work with USB-C iPhones or iPads?
A: No. Belkin F8J212BTWHT is for Apple devices with a Lightning port, including listed iPhone and Lightning iPad models. It will not fit USB-C devices, so it is not the right adaptor for newer iPhone models that use USB-C.
Q: Which iPhone models are compatible with the Belkin RockStar adaptor?
A: Belkin lists iPhone 7, 8, X, XR, XS, 11, 12, 13, 14 and SE models with Lightning as compatible. It is for Lightning iPhones only, so it will not suit iPhone models that changed to USB-C.
Q: Can I use it with a Lightning iPad for audio?
A: Yes. This adaptor is listed for Lightning-enabled iPads as well as iPhones, so it suits older iPad models that still use Lightning. It does not convert USB-C to 3.5mm, so newer USB-C iPads need a different adaptor.
Q: Will wired headset microphones work through the 3.5mm port?
A: Yes. The 3.5mm connection supports audio in and out, so compatible wired headsets can handle listening and microphone input for calls. It is designed for analogue 3.5mm headsets, not USB or Bluetooth audio accessories.
Q: Can this connect to wired speakers or a car AUX input?
A: Yes. Belkin F8J212BTWHT is designed for standard 3.5mm audio accessories, so it can connect to wired speakers and typical AUX inputs that use a 3.5mm connection. It is not for Bluetooth-only speakers or USB audio connections.
