At a glance
The Bartesian 8 Pack Cosmopolitan Capsules are a convenient cocktail accessory for people who want consistent, bar-style drinks at home with minimal effort. They suit entertainers and casual cocktail fans thanks to simple automatic mixing, customisable alcohol strength and classic flavour. One limitation is that they only work with compatible Bartesian machines, so they are not a universal cocktail solution.

Things to consider
These capsules are designed specifically for Bartesian cocktail makers and require you to supply your own vodka, so they are less all-in-one than ready-to-drink or universal cocktail options.
Appliance compatibility assessment
9/10 - Purpose-built for Bartesian cocktail makers, but not suitable for non-Bartesian systems.
Ease of installation rating
10/10 - No installation required beyond inserting the capsule into a compatible Bartesian machine.
Upgrade suitability
A practical flavour expansion for existing Bartesian owners who want quick access to a classic Cosmopolitan option.
Cleaning convenience
8/10 - Single-use capsule format helps keep prep tidy, though the finished cocktail still needs shaking with ice and normal glassware cleanup.
Key benefits
- 8 single-use capsules: Makes eight individual Cosmopolitan cocktails for easy portion control when entertaining or enjoying drinks over time.
- Bartesian machine compatibility: Works with compatible Bartesian cocktail makers so the capsule barcode can be read and the drink blended automatically.
- Alcohol-free capsule format: Lets you choose your own vodka and adjust the spirit content to suit personal taste.
- Mocktail option support: Allows you to enjoy the same Cosmopolitan flavour profile without adding alcohol when using the machine’s mocktail setting.
- Classic Cosmopolitan flavour: Delivers tart cranberry, lime and orange notes for a familiar cocktail taste.
- Automatic recipe reading: Reduces guesswork by letting the machine identify the capsule and prepare the intended cocktail style.
- Home entertaining convenience: Simplifies cocktail service for guests without needing to measure mixers manually.
- Cool, dry storage suitability: Easy to store between occasions to help preserve flavour until ready to use.
Q: Can I use these Cosmopolitan capsules without a Bartesian machine?
A: No. These capsules are made for Bartesian cocktail makers, which read the capsule barcode and mix the drink automatically. They are not intended for other brands or manual mixing, so they only suit a Bartesian setup.
Q: Do I need to add vodka to these capsules?
A: Yes. Bartesian Cosmopolitan capsules do not contain alcohol, so you add your own vodka before the machine prepares the drink. If you want the same flavour profile without spirits, use the mocktail setting on a compatible Bartesian maker.
Q: How many drinks are in the Bartesian 8 Pack?
A: The pack makes 8 drinks, because each capsule is single-use and prepares 1 Cosmopolitan. That suits trying the flavour, stocking a home bar, or serving a small group, but it is not the right format if you need larger-volume entertaining supplies.
Q: Are Bartesian Cosmopolitan capsules reusable after one cocktail?
A: No. Each capsule is single-use and is designed to make 1 Cosmopolitan only. Once the machine has used the capsule, it cannot be refilled for the same automatic mixing result, so ongoing use means buying replacement capsules.
Q: Should these cocktail capsules be kept in the fridge?
A: No. These capsules are best stored in a cool, dry place rather than the fridge. Refrigeration is not required for normal storage, and a dry cupboard or bar area is the better choice for preserving flavour between uses.
