Works well, just as described, although a little smaller.
Product works well, easy to set up. It did not come with the wall rack and it’s smaller than the pictures suggest. But it’s neat and tidy and fits anywhere. Good product.

Small but OK
The sound improves with use - I wonder what the speaker membrane material is as I listen to classical music.

At a glance
The Amazon Pop is a compact Alexa smart speaker designed for small rooms and everyday voice control. It suits users who want easy music playback, weather updates and smart home help without taking up much space. Its strengths are simple setup, good far-field voice pickup and a neat footprint. The main limitation is that sound quality is better for casual listening than room-filling audio.

Key benefits
- Compact Design: Fits neatly on bedside tables, shelves and benches where larger speakers may be awkward.
- Alexa Voice Control: Lets you ask for music, weather, timers and answers without using your hands.
- Bluetooth Connectivity: Streams audio wirelessly from compatible phones and tablets with simple pairing.
- Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Supports stable streaming and Alexa features across compatible 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- Far-Field Voice Pickup: Uses 8 microphones so Alexa can hear requests from across the room, even with music playing.
- Easy App Setup: Gets you started quickly through the Alexa app for a straightforward first-time setup.
- Smart Home Control: Gives simple voice access to compatible smart home devices for convenient daily routines.
- Small-Room Audio: Delivers sound that is well suited to bedrooms, desks and other compact spaces.
Q: Does Echo Pop need to stay plugged into power?
A: Yes. Echo Pop is mains powered, so it needs to remain plugged in during use. It suits bedside tables, desks and shelves, but it is not designed as a portable speaker you can carry room to room without power.
Q: Is the sound good enough for a large room?
A: No. Echo Pop is designed for bedrooms and other smaller spaces, with everyday audio for music, alarms and voice requests. It is better for casual listening than filling a larger living area with fuller, more powerful sound.
Q: Can I play music from my phone via Bluetooth?
A: Yes. Echo Pop supports Bluetooth, so you can stream audio from a compatible phone or tablet without using voice services for playback. For Alexa features and smart home control, a Wi-Fi connection is still the better fit.
Q: Which smart home devices work with this Alexa speaker?
A: Echo Pop can control compatible smart home devices and services that work with Alexa. The key limitation is compatibility, because not every device brand or feature set responds through Alexa in the same way.
Q: Will this fit on a bedside table or desk?
A: Yes. Echo Pop is built for smaller spaces, so it suits bedside tables, desks and shelves where a larger speaker would be more awkward. Its compact size is the main advantage, but that also means more modest sound output.
