  Easy to get started, does everything required

  All I needed was a computer for home use, with internet searching, mail system, and basic document creation and management. The salesperson at Good Guys advised that it was not suitable for gaming, and may not give the best experience for video streaming. Set-up was easy and the availability of a free 30-day trial of Microsoft 365 was a valuable bonus.

  Good product, bad timing.

  I opened my new laptop expecting to be able to use it straight away but I was wrong, The pre- installed windows "Home" edition needed updating to the current version, one that was released between when the laptop was built and when I purchased it, before it would allow me to set up and use the computer, The pre installed non Microsoft security program stopped Windows 11 "Home" from updating properly and it took a while to figure that out. Now 36 hours later when all the updates were completed and I was able to start setting up the computer I found that the pre-installed email program in windows was not able to communicate with my email provider causing more issues that I hope to have sorted out after the Christmas/New year holiday period is over.

  Great Laptop for Home Use

  Since we bought an Acer laptop for our kids study and it works very efficiently without any lags, we finally decided to upgrade our home laptop.
