Pretty good dash cam with great image quality
This dash cam has fantastic image quality and lots of really modern features such as alexa voice command. Its a sleek and small design that sits easily on the windscreen without obstructing your view. The only feature I would change is being able to shut off the recordings as so far I havent been able to stop it recording and the battery does die quickly because of that if its not charging constantly.

Feature rich dashcam when working
This nextbase 522 GW unit has a common problem, which was found after the unit kept issuing an alarm until the battery ran down. On accessing the forum of nextbase users of the 522GW this particular model will take exception to the memory SD card and the card needs to be reformatted to be able to be used again. An update was provided by Nextbase for the model and so far no further alarm. The update seems to exclude one of the features of this model. the current GPS Speed of the vehicle as a screen saver.

not impressed
very disappointing unit freezes after a few hours driving has to be reset bit tricky when driving so you have to stop to press the reset button. the battery has a charge life of less than a minute and when ignition is off it shuts off with low battery warning it gets very hot when working the app a mine field to get through ( the main reason for purchase was the wifi app)

Great all round dashcam.
I like the 4K resolution on the from facing camera and the HD resolution on the rear facing camera. The ease of use and ability to easily send the footage to your phone.
