Q: Is this fan suitable for a large living room?
A: Yes. Mercator Nemoi has a 137cm blade span and airflow of over 10,000 cubic metres per hour, which suits larger living areas and open spaces. In smaller rooms, that size can look dominant overhead, so check the room proportions as well as the airflow.
Q: Can the Nemoi fan be used in covered outdoor areas?
A: Yes. This model is suitable for covered outdoor spaces and indoor use, with corrosion and UV resistant parts. It is not described for fully exposed areas, so it should be kept under cover rather than installed where rain and weather hit it directly.
Q: Does this ceiling fan have smart app or Wi-Fi control?
A: No. Mercator Nemoi FC708134WH includes a 5-speed remote control, but it does not have built-in smart home control. If app control or automation matters, this model is the simpler remote-operated version rather than a native Wi-Fi fan.
Q: How does the reverse function help in winter?
A: The reversible settings let the fan run in the opposite direction for seasonal use. That makes it useful beyond summer cooling, but it is still an air-circulation fan, not a heater, so the room's main heating source still does the actual warming.
Q: What power does the FC708134WH motor use?
A: Mercator FC708134WH uses a 35W DC motor. That is a low motor power figure for a fan with a 137cm span, so it is aimed at efficient everyday airflow, though total power use will also include the light when the light is switched on.
Q: Will the built-in light work as the main room light?
A: It can for many everyday spaces, because this model includes an integrated LED light for combined fan-and-light use. It is better suited to general room lighting than targeted task lighting, as no separate desk or bench-light function is part of the design.
