Worst dishwasher ever
We have never had one cycle of dishwashing where every item is clean. Many items need to be rewashed. Does not break down dishwashing tablets eg whole tablets can be sitting on the bottom of the dishwasher in dissolved. Have had to use expensive dishwashing liquid. Very disappointed.

Good Product
The feature I like best is the utensil tray and the space available for small & big plates, etc. The system cleans well and silent.

Lots of room for all the dishes
I was genuinely surprised by the amount of dishes I could tetris into this dishwasher. It's got lots of options to adjust the baskets to suit. No small parts that bend out of shape or fall off. It washes well, rarely do I have to send something back in for another run. Super easy to operate. Nice finish, matches my samsung fridge nicely. Clearly designed by someone who uses a dishwasher regularly or has taken on feedback.

8/10 - Strong for a large-capacity freestanding model with a 4.5 star energy rating and 206kWh estimated annual energy use.
Ease of loading rating
9/10 - Adjustable height baskets, foldable cup racks and support for plates up to 320mm improve loading flexibility.

Key benefits
- 15 Place Settings: Generous capacity handles large family loads and entertaining dishes in fewer cycles.
- Flexible Basket Configuration: Adjustable height baskets and foldable cup racks make it easier to fit bowls, glasses, large plates and serving dishes together.
- Steam Wash Modifier: Steam helps loosen oil and grime for easier cleaning on everyday loads.
- Hygiene Program: Designed to sanitise dishes and help kill 99.99% of bacteria.
- 44dB Operation: Runs quietly enough to suit open-plan kitchens and evening use.
- Auto Door Open Dry: Opens the door automatically at the end of the cycle to help improve drying results.
- 4.5 Star Energy Rating: Delivers solid efficiency for its size, with estimated annual energy consumption of 206kWh.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: Lets you monitor and control the dishwasher remotely and receive helpful alerts through the app.
Q: Will this dishwasher fit under a standard kitchen benchtop?
A: Yes, in most cases. Haier HDW15F3B1 is 850 to 895mm high, 597mm wide and 599mm deep, which suits a standard freestanding dishwasher space, but the height range means a lower cavity may need the adjustable feet set down fully.
Q: Can it fit large dinner plates and serving dishes easily?
A: Yes. Haier HDW15F3B1 is designed to accommodate plate sizes up to 320mm, and the adjustable-height baskets plus foldable cup racks make it easier to load tall plates, bowls and mixed serving pieces in the same wash.
Q: How quiet is the Haier HDW15F3B1 in open-plan kitchens?
A: Haier HDW15F3B1 operates at 44dB, so it is quiet enough for most open-plan kitchens without dominating the room. You will still hear wash and drain sounds in a very quiet space, especially if the kitchen and living area are joined.
Q: Can the steam option be added to any wash cycle?
A: Yes. The Steam wash modifier can be added to any cycle to help loosen oil and grime before the main wash continues. It is useful for mixed family loads, but it does not replace correct loading or a suitable detergent for heavily soiled items.
Q: Does the auto door open feature dry plastic containers properly?
A: It helps, but not perfectly every time. Auto Door Open Dry and ThermoDry improve drying by releasing steam at the end of the cycle, though lightweight plastics can still hold some moisture compared with ceramic, glass or metal items.
Q: What can you do with the SmartHQ app on this dishwasher?
A: Haier HDW15F3B1 can connect to Wi-Fi for remote control and alerts through the SmartHQ app. That is useful for starting a cycle or checking status away from the kitchen, but app control still depends on your home network being set up and stable.
