Q: Do I need a 100W USB-C charger to get full speed
A: No. Cygnett CY4673PCTYC can charge at the power your charger and device support, up to 100W when both are compatible. With a lower-wattage charger, it still works, but charging will be limited to that lower output.
Q: Will this cable work with older USB-A chargers or ports
A: No. This cable has USB-C connectors on both ends, so it suits USB-C chargers, laptops, tablets and phones. It will not plug straight into a USB-A wall charger, car charger or computer port without an adapter.
Q: Does this USB-C to USB-C cable support video output
A: No. Cygnett CY4673PCTYC is a USB 2.0 charge and data cable, so it is intended for power and routine file transfer between USB-C devices. If you need to connect a monitor, choose a USB-C cable that specifically lists video support.
Q: Can this USB-C cable transfer files as well as charge
A: Yes. Cygnett CY4673PCTYC supports charging and USB 2.0 data transfer at 480Mbps for routine syncing of photos, music and everyday files. It is practical for basic transfers, not for faster large-file workflows that need higher-speed cables.
Q: Is the 50cm length long enough for car charging
A: Yes, if the charger is close to the device. The 50cm length keeps a car console or front seat setup tidier and reduces loose cable, but it can be too short if the USB-C port is further away or you need to use the phone while charging.
