We’ve been using the Bosch 9kg Heat Pump Dryer for a while now and it’s easily one of those appliances you forget about because it just quietly does its job. First up, the big win is efficiency. It sips power compared to our old condenser dryer and doesn’t turn the laundry into a sauna. The heat pump tech means clothes come out properly dry without feeling like they’ve been cooked to death, which is great for things like school uniforms, work gear and anything you don’t want shrinking in protest. Capacity-wise, 9kg is plenty for a family. Towels, sheets, mixed loads, no dramas. It handles bulky items better than expected and still dries evenly without that classic “one sleeve wet, the rest bone dry” situation. Noise levels are surprisingly low.
