Have been a slow cooker user all my life. Decided on Instant Pot after watching multiple Youtube about pressure cookers- mainly 1. Stainless steel inner pot. 2 the lid can rest on the side 3. Easy-to -understand setting After using a few times, the added pros - 4. Pot is so much lighter than slow cooker. 5. Reduced cooking time - did bone broth 30-35mins outcome equivalent to 3h slow cooking. Have not tried other setting yet. Was quite cautious about pressure cooker initially but it turned out to be quite easy to use. The Instant Pot sales office was very kind to send/replace a floater silicone cap when i accidentally dropped it in the sink while rinsing the tiny item. Also i discovered spare parts are easily available online if required.

No longer scared of a pressure cooker
Easy and simple to use and in combination wish my air fryer my meat is now super tender and crispy on the outside. I don’t know how I have lived without this for so many tears its perfect for slow cooked meals you didn't get round to preparing in the morning. Same quality with tender meat in 40 minutes. Love it!

Time saver in cooking!
I use the instant pot electric pressure cooker for meat, soup and rice cooking. It is a massive time saver. You can set and forget as you don’t have to pay attention to the cooking safety during cooking, unlike gas or induction cooktop. Just remember to cancel the “keep warm” option by pressing g the button before starting. Otherwise after cooking g completion the pot keeps warming and some dishes may become too dry. I find the most useful scenario is fast cooking- not low and slow. Use it to make a meat dish for your family dinner and you only have to prepare for a veggie dish. Imagine how much time you can save when cooking on daily basis! More functions to explore.
