This machine is absolutely awesome. Just load in your photos and press scan. So fast and with automatic image colour correction, as well as scanning the back to capture written details, you don't have to do anything but just sort your scanned images into groups. Just fantastic.

This is the best scanner I've used. It was easy to set up with no fiddling around. Just pop in the photos and go! Love it!

This product is exactly what is says a simple, multi photo photo scanner. It is easy to install and brings up old, dark photo's so well - gives you the choice of keeping the original scan, the adjusted scan or both. Easy file naming system and works with very small old photo's and ones up to A4 size. This was exactly what I needed for my 100's of old photo's.

Love that you can scan up to 30 prints in one go and the machine automatically improves them. It then gives you the choice to keep either or both copies. Only thing I am having a problem with is doing mulitple copies of really small, old photo's.

Makes it so easy to scan batches of photos. Just pop them in the hopper, tag them with some information and a date. It creates a folder for the scan run and adds the info to the photo exif data. This makes them easy to find if you upload to Google photos or similar. Scan quality is great but I did have turn off the auto enhancement/scratch removal features as these did not work well. The unit feels strong and sturdy. I got mine for 399 on a good guys deal

If you have a lot of photos to scan, and I do mean a LOT, then I can recommend this scanner. It can do an amazingly fast job, but it's not without some issues. The scanner sensor area can get contaminated from the photos sliding past it, so it's important to inspect the scans say every 50-100 photos to make sure there are no lines on them, or clean the sensor area frequently, which is thankfully very easy. Dark areas of the photos can appear quite noisy or grainy compared to the results from my old Canon flatbed scanner. The automatic photo enhancement functions get it wrong a lot. Results can be too bright, missing obvious red eyes or applying red eye fixes to the skin surrounding the eyes, leaving obvious dark spots where there should be none. Auto rotation causes more problems than it fixes but rotating the photos afterwards is very easy. Fortunately when applying any auto enhancements the scanner can be set to produce an unaltered copy too so you can select which photo version you prefer and delete the other copy. If you have very old faded photos the enhanced copy is usually superior than the unaltered. Lastly if using wirelessly it doesn't respond on the first try of every photo batch, eventually coming up with an error message asking to select the scanner from a list, even though there's only the one scanner listed. This is a pain as it does waste time. I haven't tried it connected via USB. Having said all that I still think it's a great scanner for the job of scanning hundreds or thousands of photos very quickly and easily and the pros vastly outweigh the cons in my opinion. However at the usual RRP or thereabouts I probably wouldn't have bought it to try.

If you have lots of photos to scan then this device is great. It does a very good job on documents too. I wasn't impressed by the auto photo enhancement options as pictures looked a bit grainy. On standard and set to 600dpi, the scans are very good and each photo takes about a second over wifi. The unit is heavy and seems sturdy. Friends and family will want to borrow this.

This scanner is extremely handy and mostly does reasonably well. It's main benefit is the very impressive speed at which it scans photos, but although the results are acceptable for the most part the quality isn't quite as good as my 20 year old Canon LIDE flatbed scanner. The main issue being more noise in the dark areas of the photo. This is the trade-off for the speed and ease compared to a slow flatbed scanner. It also doesn't get some of its automatic functions correct a lot of the time, such as red eye removal and auto rotation, but these are just minor annoyances. I would only recommend this scanner if you have many hundreds or thousands of photos to scan but even then I would only consider purchase if it's on sale at a price considerably below its RRP. I paid $399.
