Second changes - replacing similar unit that didn't last as long as suspected.
This is a rating for a previous version of the same unit that worked well until 'flux capacitor' or whatever it is died. Pretty sure it was the shortest lived microwave we have ever owned, not sure how long that was though - a 'few' years. But we liked it enough to give it a second chance. If this one doesn't last, there won't be a third though. Good power. No plate, does not spin. Was working great, until it didn't.

The ability to fit more food in than a carousel type is a plus. On the negative side, the inerior is not very well lit, and the downside of thep heating coming from under the flatbed, is that heating is uneven, with the bottom of food items being hotter than the top.

The flatbed design without the turn table is a winner for me as the extra capacity is perfect for the portions of meals I cook. An excellent product! This is my second Panasonic microwave after my previous one lasted 15 years!
