Worst purchase of my life
Choice magazine recommended this and so I bought it and my friend bought 2! Hers also started to play up after about a month. They will just give up half way through the job, always!! It was great the first few times and now I just hate it. Absolutely hate it. The company told me to hard reset and I have done that now a few times and have to re-map everytime. I am sending it back.

Cleans well but could be better
I have been using the J7 + for a few weeks now, mainly for its vacuuming with the occasional run around using the mop. I have two dogs that shed and tend to wander in and leave bits of tan bark from the yard all over the floors, the robot does an excellent job of keeping the floors free of dander, dust and whatever the dogs bring in, I usually run it once of a night & will occasionally send it around to do a vacuum and mop. It has done a great job of keeping the floors cleaner. The only part I have found disappointing is that the auto empty feature has not worked properly for me, after a lot of troubleshooting online it seems to be a common issue with this device, when the robot docs it never auto empties into the base and I have to remember to use the button in the app to make it empty before sending it around again, this can be quite annoying if the bin gets full mid clean as it will return to the base but not empty itself. Overall happy with the clean it does, just find the technology and app glitchy at the best of times.

My favourite electrical appliance
So easy to start, it mapped my 7 areas and gave me details if it encountered any problems cleaning, (I had left some electrical cords under a bed which it did not like) then I was amazed how it docks to empty its dust container and the floors feel so clean after a 2 hour vacuum. The only problem is I spend too much time now just sitting and watching this amazing product do its work in my unit.

The Roomba Combo J7+ can lift its mop pad entirely out of the way when detecting carpet. The mop system is well-suited for light to moderate cleaning. It can identify and avoid obstacles like cords and shoes. The app is user-friendly and allows for scheduling, room-specific cleaning, and no-go zones.

Hang up the broom
Roomba J7 has been great to do the vacuuming and mopping so I can get on with other household jobs at the same time. It has really cut down on the labour to keep your house clean and tidy and also stops you from leaving stuff on the floor that can impact the robots cleaning cycle, a great habit former ! It’s been nice to simply lift up all the chairs set the program and head off to work, knowing you are coming home to clean and mopped floors. No more walking in to dog fur everywhere !.
