Powerful Toaster
I recently purchased the Breville The Toast Set 4 Slice Toaster and have mixed feelings. On the positive side, it looks great on the bench, and being able to toast 4 slices at once is very convenient. The build feels solid and it fits nicely into the kitchen aesthetically. However, I’ve found the browning control to be surprisingly aggressive. I haven’t been able to set the dial past “2” because anything higher results in toast that is overly dark or burnt. It seems to run much hotter than my previous toaster, so the usable range on the dial feels very limited. I was also a bit disappointed with the in-store experience. The box looked quite beaten up, so I asked the salesperson if it was brand new and was assured that it was. When I got home, all the internal plastic wrapping had already been opened and the power cable had been unwound, which made it feel like it may have been previously handled or returned and there was a dent in one side of the toaster. Overall, it’s a stylish and practical toaster, but the overly powerful heating and the condition of the packaging on purchase left me a little underwhelmed.

Fabulous Toaster
I bought this purely because of the colour. It matches other items in my kitchen....but it is a great toaster! it toasts evenly and quickly! Be careful not to set it too high or your toast will burn. The little bit more button does get used often too. It's a great toaster. Can recommend.

Beautiful looking toaster, Controls are easy to use and it’s good being able to just use 2 slots if needed without the other 2 heating up. The frozen bread and fruit bread setting is useful too

Looks Great In The New Kitchen
It's a lovely looking toaster. We had the Stainless steel Upgraded model to this which I will say was definitely better. This one doesn't toast evenly and doesn't seem as good quality as my last one, but I guess you get what you pay for.
