Breville Rice Box Pro
Used the rice cooker to cook brown rice- which is generally the longest to cook. 4 Cups rice to 8 cups of water- just put it in and let it cook slowly- approx. 60-70 minutes. Intuitive- knows what it’s all about, looks after itself. Eventually you hear a couple of buzzes then it switches from cooking to warm mode, which gives you a fluffy-nutty rice. Design. Sleek black and stainless -steel hamper style with sturdy handle would go well will all accessories, would look good on picnic day or any function. Aluminum coated bucket inside. Settings. Buttons are easy to read and use. Pre-select for rice and grains. Cleaning. Easy to clean. Steam vent easy to clean- minimal mess unlike conventional rice cookers. It comes with an easy to-read manual and a good size of 10 cups. Love It!

Amazing cooker
I love that the rice when kept warm doesn’t have that crusty case at the bottom. It perfectly cooks rice nice and fluffy. The only downside side is the time it takes to cook

One thing we worry about the cooker is in winter not sure it is keeping warm to nice and hot when serve, at the moment is summer so, because the the heat go through to the outside shell quite warm

Rice box for everyone
As a family of 4, we'd been living with a microwave rice cooker for many years. After moving and losing the microwave box we decided that we would upgrade. Rice cooks great, and the timing and warming function is a quality of life improvement. The overall unit is larger then we expected, so make sure you have storage or benchtop space for something about the size of a coffee machine.
