Excellent choice for beginners
I have been eyeing the Breville Barista machines for a few years and couldn't be happier with this machine. While the more expensive ones certainly look beautiful and have more features, I am so pleased with this one. It was a little daunting learning all the features of the machine to begin with, but if you stick to the manual and have a bit of a browse online, it's super easy to learn - it really didn't take us long, and I've really enjoyed getting into the specifics of coffee making. As someone who is a bit of a coffee fanatic and quite particular with where I get my coffee from, I used to purchase a coffee out every day, but since getting this machine, I have only been making them at home! Being able to decide exactly how strong or weak my coffee is is wonderful. We've been buying beans from Woolworths (nothing too fancy), and I can confirm that you don't need to spend $40+ per bag of beans. A simple bean is all it takes. During these times where cost of living is affecting us all so much, this investment is so worth it. If you're considering it, trust me, you'll love it! I regret not getting it earlier.

An Excellent Little Machine
As a coffee enthusiast, I can confidently recommend this product without hesitation. This compact machine consistently produces coffee that rivals and often exceeds what many cafés serve. Overall, I’m impressed with its performance and quality. It would be close to perfect if Breville included a higher-quality tamper and set the internal grinder to level 3 by default for more optimal results. Nevertheless, this deserves a 5-star rating.
