Easy to use
This carpet cleaner is so easy to use and doesn't soak the carpet so it dries quickly. I only have 3 rooms to clean so thid Bissel does the job. I'd recommend it to anyone with a small area to clean.

Poor domestic use design
The machine works well and cleans well, just as I would expect of Bissell, but the dirty water tank is too big and too tall. You can’t get close along the edge of beds, benches etc because the tank is too tall and it is hard to manoeuvre around tight areas. I know you most likely won’t want to shampoo under a bed, but you do need to be able to go under the edge a bit where people put their feet. If you have large open areas with little or no furniture - go for it as it does a good job, particularly at this price. The design is bad for domestic use. No a patch on my old Bissell Pet which has just died after MANY years years of work.
