Flatbed microwave
This is a powerful unit. I find it has some quirks that I am trying to work around, such as the minimum weight for defrosting meat/chicken, etc is 500g. If you want to defrost any weight of food witha lower weight than that, then you need to set the power to 400W, and guestimate the time to "cook" the food. This has resulted in some half-cooked raw food! I also find the preset for sensor cooking vegetables to have a "wait-and-see" approach, where the food will be either 1. overcooked; 2. maybe just right; or 3. needing more time as the food is still raw. The flatbed is very easy to clean, and I do enjoy having a timer function again, after my previous microwave not having one.

The best feature about this microwave is the flatbed - no more rotating glass plate, and the ease of use. The controls are easy to understand, and very similar to my previous Sharp microwave.

I was so used to using a microwave with a turntable but using the extra space not having to have a dish spinning around has been amazing. It is super easy to reheat large dishes that would never have worked in my last microwave.
