  Best home carpet washer around!!

  I recently got the Vax Platinum PowerMax Carpet Washer and seriously, I cant stop raving about this machine. Firstly, everything comes in a neat cardboard box with recyclable packaging. The instructions are easy to follow, and the machine is straightforward to put together. The hand-held hose comes in a convenient mesh storage bag with a hanging hook making it so easy to store the attachments and accessories! Now to the carpet washer itself. 10/10, I love it! It did such a brilliant job cleaning my carpets that the I want to keep using it every day. The scrubbers on the machine go in different directions- this machine pulled dog hair out of the carpet that even my $$$ dog and cat vacuum could not! In addition to the awesome scrubbing ability, the carpet washing function is complemented by easy to operate spray triggers and suction powerful enough that the carpets looked and felt dry within about an hour, on an overcast and mild Brisbane day. Now, the hand-held cleaning nozzles. These are brilliant! One has a scrubber and one does not, so you can be confident that you have the tool suitable for your fabric. I easily cleaned a grubby dirty stain off my upholstered dining chair in minutes! And suction on the hand-held nozzles is brilliant too, you can be confident you get the majority of the moisture out of the fabric or carpet whatever it is that you are cleaning. The machine can also clean hard floors like tiles and vinyl with the hard floor attachment simply clipping into place. The power cable is very long and makes this machine very usable and you dont have to drag an extension lead around everywhere you go to wash, a great thought on the design. Another great design aspect to this machine is that the water tanks are flat on the bottom so they stand up by themselves and dont tip over, so great for when you want to fill/empty/wash the tanks. This carpet washer is brilliant, I cannot recommend it enough! I really think you will love it too! Happy cle

  Good product but very Difficult to clean after carpet cleaning

  It's a good product it cleaned too much mess out of my carpets. But bad thing is it's brushes are very hard to clean so many screws and very difficult process so watch some videos before you buy. I still.like it because if you clean your whole house in one day then you can clean it and dry it and put it away.

  Awesome product

  The feature I love the best about this product is that with the hose attachment I am able to do my car carpet and seats with it and also a normal material table chair and the results are satisfactory and when the normal vax platinum professional solution didn't work I then tried pre treatment stain remover sample and that was really great helped with tougher stains

  It burnt out

  Less than 6 months of owning it and the engine has burnt out on it, sending smoke in the air, I thought vax brands were top products

  I had high hopes for this Vax based on reviews I had read before my purchase but I was let down by it. It is advertised as suitable for hard floors as well as carpet but I could not push it over my tiled floor and it left marks where I had tried to use it. On carpet it was good on short pile, smooth carpet. It was also way too noisy for a domestic machine. I could not use it while anyone else was at home because of the noise.
