Not much to choose from and settled on Panasonic. Decent player, wouldn’t spend the extra on this model though. Go the entry level for half the price, just as good.

Top performance for sensible money.
Physical media is 'niche' in this streaming era. But still essential if you have a collection of TV shows and movies on DVD and Blu-ray., and want the best performance out of your expensive 4K TV. This unit delivers stellar upscaling performance to modern 4K TVs for 1080p Blu-ray, and useful improvement to even DVDs. It has everything else one could need, including dedicated audio connectivity to older AV systems and auto-switching of the latest HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for 4K Blu-ray discs. You must spend 3x or 4x the money to get better video quality.
