Great upgrade
I'm so happy with my new mixer. I love the light and having scales built in. Having 2 bowls is a bonus. I haven't used the melting option yet.

They shipped the wrong product
I'm not able to review this model, because a different model was shipped - we ended up with a Kenwood Chef Baker XL in black (we ordered a Titanium Patissier). Looking at the lack of email contacts, webforms etc on the Good Guys website and emails from purchase - there is no customer service number to call and all of the online contacts are based on warranty claims and faulty products.

Amazing mixer!
I was originally looking at a KitchenAid mixer as they look so pretty. But when comparing the specs between the KitchenAid and Kenwood, I couldn't go past the size of the motor, tilt lift, and ten-year warranty. I've made a few cakes already with it and been really happy with how they've turned out. The light into the bowl is very handy when adding ingredients and I love the tilt lift. My Mum has had her Kenwood mixer for 25 years and it's still going strong. This feels like it will be the same!

Coolest mixer
This mixer is such good quality and made to last. Comes with so many attachments which are super sturdy (with no weird nooks and grooves which makes them super easy to clean) and two massive bowls. I love the built in halo light making it easy to see what’s going on inside the bowl. The heating function is so cool to have in a mixer and the scale works perfectly which makes clean up much easier with less dishes. It also has spots for additional add ons like blenders and pasta rollers which I haven’t used but look sleek on the machine with magnetic covers. I have used it to make a few different things and everything works out so well in it, it proved my dough like a dream. Very happy with this machine!
