Fisher & Paykel Quality Control Non-Existant
I received this item well packaged no signs being opened on Saturday. I was excited to show my wife the new stove. Opened package stove looked great, only thing it came with nothing else. No oven shelves, no gas connection hose, no regulator, no LPG gas conversion jets, no other accessories. Just 3 paper manuals in bottom storage compartment. How can this happen. Only way this could happen is NO QUALITY CONTROL. I wanted to send the stove back, but due to lack of stock I could not find a suitable stove in stock. I has booked gas fitter to install on the following Monday. We required a working stove for Christmas. Due to lack of QUALITY CONTROL I am very concerned how well it will perform & how long it will last. I called The Good Guys at Erina where I bought this item. They provided most the missing items and I had to call Fisher & Paykel to send the remaining missing parts. I did not pay for part of a display item I paid for a brand new item. Fisher & Paykel were not interested in providing any compensation at all. The first Fisher & Paykel item I have ever purchased & will be the last. The Good Guys Erina dis all they could to get me out of a bad situation.
