Printer/Scanner
Yet to use the new Printer/Scanner, but expect good things from it as have owned 4 or 5 similar Epson XP devices to date. I have found Epson products to be reliable & robust compared with other brands of inkjet printers & hence keep buying them. They are reasonably easy to set up and use, and produce good colour prints, when required. Consumables such as inks can be expensive unfortunately. As I intend to use this device predominantly for scanning (for both colour & black and white), I decided on this XP unit because it only has 4 ink tanks, not 6. Therefore, relative cost of inks will be more economical in longer term. Maintenance of the ink jet nozzles can be tedious & contribute to more consumables being required. Based on my past experience with Epson XP devices, it would be nice to have the same clarity in scans but with smaller output sized files. As stated above, I have yet to use the new Printer/Scanner, but expect it to perform much the same as the other Epson XP devices I have owned to date, & this review is based on that premise.

Epson Compact
This printer is very compact and easy to use. The flip out bar which has the basic command buttons on it can be pushed back flush with the overall box shape when I've finished my photocopy and printouts.

Great device for the price
Everything works well (scanning and printing). Good that the pages flip themselves for double printing. I am not sure how much the ink costs yet as I haven't had to replace them.
