The sides of the bread facing the centre elements cook while the other sides facing the outer elements are only properly cooked on their bottom halves. I’m disappointed and sorry I bought it.

Looks like a toaster, works like a toaster
Coming from a wide (side by side) 4 slice toaster, I’m now liking the ability to toast long bits of bread without cutting them up. Getting the heat settings right takes a bit of time but I’ll put that down to user error. Otherwise there’s no complaints on the Breville Toast Control 4 Slice Toaster.
