I purchased this appliance because I was after an electric jaffle iron. As this was the closest thing I could find to what I was looking for I made the purchase. The appliance does, in fact, make toasted sandwiches that are very similar to jaffles and so I am pleased with its overall performance. It is well made and holds the sandwiche content formly in place. It represents good value for the money spent.

The Breville makes a lovely toasted sandwich with your choice of fillings. Easy to make snacks or a meal. Makes two sandwiches at the same time, sealed around the edges, cut across the middle.
