  Didn't have a good adhesive

  It seemed like a good idea however, trying to apply it to the window it kept sticking to my hands. Once it was in I left the window shut to help it stick. Unfortunately it still didn't last a day as one side or the other would pull off. Perhaps the plastic needed stretching out first or the adhesive tape was off.

  Nice idea terrible applications

  The fome tape while tacky could not stay gripped to the metal. The plastice concertina did not want to separate and kept pulling the tape off the frame. Possibly just old stock however felt like a waste of time and money.

  Nice idea, but... poor execution.

  A plastic accordion style window solution with double sided foam tape? Great idea, but only if the tape is still sticky, hasn't lost the cover and thus lost its tackiness and will then only stick in small sections. It's at least easy to cut to length, and a bit of duct tape/packing tape to reinforce where it did stick/didn't stick has done the job too. Mine might have just been a bad/old stock, but it's kinda cheap and is mostly doing the job... with modification.
