Dyson big ball
Not a reflection on Good guys. This vac needs to come with a hard floor head or an option to swap between hard and soft floors. The brush head flicks sand and small particles towards the user on hard floors. Also suction is not great when using with no head for high and low hard to reach places. The original Dyson was much more efficient. Great on soft flooring and for cat floof tumble weeds.

Decent "old school" cleaner
A cost effective unit that doesn't rely on batteries, we find this better for a deep clean around the house. Performs well, the only observation of this one versus the old Dyson we replaced is that the plastic pivot foot switches (on/off/cord retract) don't seem as durable as the old foot buttons found on earlier versions.

I bought the Ball Dyson at a nice price of $448.The Dyson vacuum cleaner has a very powerful motor. Wonderful suction of dirt and animal fur. It came with a power head. My version had limited accessories. I would have liked a wide solid floor brush. However, I can purchase that separately

Reliable products
Good suction and bought at reasonable price for what I needed. After owning different Dyson products I went to where I know I will get a vacuum cleaner that will give me more years of satisfaction. Only trouble I have with the barrel type I have to watch the coiled hose as I am getting older and can sometimes trip over it.
