  Really good microwave

  Bought this after some good advice from a salesman. It has all the little features we like to use eg quick heat 10 sec, 1 min, turbo reheat. But the sensor reheat is awesome. It uses some genius sensor to heat whatever is in there perfectly. Highly recommend

It’s not overloaded with unnecessary features—just what you need to get the job done well. What Could Be Better: No Button Backlighting: One downside is that the buttons are not backlit. This makes it difficult to use the microwave in low light or at night without turning on a kitchen light. For a microwave in this price range, backlit buttons would have been a helpful addition.   It heats well and is quiet. Sensor programs are good. Control panel is hard to read without good lighting. A minor inconvenience, but I wish it had a seconds timer as sometimes I just want 15 seconds but have to put in 20 seconds, then wait to stop it when it has 5 seconds to go.

  The auto sensor reheat works really well for most meals, the defrost setting works well and option of power settings 10% apart from each other is useful for low heat cooking.

It’s been fantastic for my parents in their 80s—especially the sensor cooking, which delivers perfectly reheated meals every time. The 1100 W power and 32 L size are ideal for our needs. The only hiccup is that the under-bench placement makes the unlit buttons hard to see in daylight—they end up using a small torch!
