I bought it not really expecting a lot, But it was on special, so I got one. I was really surprised at how much it vacuumed up from floors previously vacuumed with a conventional vacuum cleaner.

The battery :(
Have used for a few monthsnow. Machine is excellent at vacuuming and ease of emptying. But there is no way you're going to get 40 minutes of battery life on carpet. I wouldn't recommend for an average sized house. Only good for smaller unit/townhouse with mostly clean floors and you zip around quickly

This may not be the latest release of the Dyson vacuum range but this particular model excels on cleaning both hard and carpetted floors. Easy to use and quick to empty the dust container. The motorised head is a brilliant additive making vacuuming so much easier. Highly recommended and value for money.
