Key benefits
- Cr2025 size: Fits devices designed specifically for CR2025 coin cells for straightforward replacement.
- 2.5 mm thickness: Matches slim battery trays that require a CR2025 for proper contact and fit.
- Lithium chemistry: Provides reliable power for small compatible electronic devices.
- 2-pack format: Gives you a spare battery on hand for quick replacement when one runs flat.
- Up to 10 years storage life: Practical for emergency kits or drawers where batteries may sit unused for long periods.
- Non-rechargeable design: Simple choice for devices made for disposable coin cells without needing a charger.
- Suited to small accessories: A practical option for car remotes, key fobs, and similar compact electronics.
Q: Will a CR2025 replace a CR2032 in my key fob?
A: No. A device that calls for a CR2025 should use that exact battery code, because similar coin cells can differ in fit and may not make proper contact. This Energizer battery suits trays and holders designed specifically for CR2025 use.
Q: Is this Energizer coin battery rechargeable or single use?
A: It is single use. This Energizer lithium coin battery is non-rechargeable, so it should be replaced when flat rather than charged again. It suits devices designed for disposable CR2025 cells, not products built around rechargeable battery systems.
Q: What kinds of devices use this CR2025 battery most often?
A: This battery is suited to small electronics that specifically require a CR2025 cell, including car remotes, key fobs and similar compact accessories. If the battery tray or old cell shows a different code, this is not the right replacement.
Q: Why does the exact CR2025 size matter for battery fit?
A: The exact size matters because devices made for CR2025 batteries rely on that battery type for proper tray fit and contact. This coin cell is shaped for holders designed around CR2025, so a different code may sit loosely or fail to power the device reliably.
