How StoreCash> Works

Each StoreCash> reward can only be used once and in one transaction. No change/credit given for any unused balance.

Once you have entered your details you will receive an SMS with a link to download your Digital Wallet to your smartphone. Follow the instructions and within minutes you’ll be set up and ready to earn and use your StoreCash>! 

No, sorry. You must have a Digital Wallet downloaded on a suitable smart phone device to earn StoreCash>. Without a Digital Wallet, you will not be able to earn or receive StoreCash>.

That’s easy – open your Digital Wallet and next to your name and contact number you will find your status. The word “Gold Status” will be visible if you are a Gold Service Extras member. If you are not a Gold Services Extras member your wallet will reflect a Blue status.

As a Gold Service Extras Member your StoreCash> Digital Wallet will reflect your Gold Status provided that you have signed up for your Digital Wallet using the same details associated with your Gold Service Extras plan.

 

Gold status may not appear in your Digital Wallet due to the reasons below:

  1.  We don’t have a valid email or mobile registered to your Gold Service Extras Member account. Please update customer details to ensure they are correct. We can assist with this simply by chatting to us here
  2.  You may not have an active Gold Service Extras plan registered to your mobile number.

To stay up to date with StoreCash> offers, please ensure you have automatic updates turned on within your Digital Wallet. The Digital Wallet will display all current StoreCash offers that are available for you to earn StoreCash. If you have agreed to receive marketing communications from The Good Guys, you may also receive offers via email/SMS.

StoreCash> can be earned by making qualifying purchases during specified offer periods.

 

You can find offers on your Digital Wallet and on The Good Guys Website. Offers may also be promoted in store and through other channels – such as email, SMS, catalogue, social media etc. To make sure that you don’t miss out on any offers, you must remain opted into marketing communications to receive updates.

 

Ways to earn StoreCash> can include: 

  • Purchase with qualifying minimum purchase amount

  • Purchase of specific products, or range of products, within a brand or category 

  • Purchase by specific sale channel such as “in-store only” or “online only” 

  • Purchase by a specific payment method 

  • Purchase of a specific program or service  

  • Providing a Home Tested product review

 

Don’t forget, to earn StoreCash>, you must have an active The Good Guys StoreCash> Digital Wallet.
You also need to be opted in to receive marketing communications to be notified on StoreCash> offers and your payments - having your consent means we will always send you an email when StoreCash is paid into your Digital Wallet.

Some StoreCash> offers require Gold Service Extras to be purchased with a qualifying product to be eligible for StoreCash>. Be sure to check full offer details to see if this is a requirement for the offer you are interested in.  

No. Unfortunately, your Digital Wallet must be activated prior to purchase.

To earn StoreCash> the mobile phone number registered on your transaction will need to match the one provided during your Digital Wallet sign-up.

 

In-store: To earn StoreCash>, simply provide the sales team with your mobile number linked to your Digital Wallet at checkout.

 

Online: When checking out online, make sure that the mobile number registered on your The Good Guys online account matches the mobile number on your Digital Wallet. If checking out as a guest, please input the same mobile number that was used within your Digital Wallet sign-up.

 

Provided that the terms and conditions of the offer are met, and the qualifying transaction is linked to your mobile number registered on your Digital Wallet you will earn StoreCash>.

 

For qualifying purchases, StoreCash> rewards are paid to your Digital Wallet within 5 business days, after the collection/delivery of your goods in full. You have 60 days from purchase to have your qualifying product collected/delivered. Please note, “in full” means that every item on your customer docket must be collected/delivered before any StoreCash> reward will be paid to your Digital Wallet. Items on back order or with future delivery dates may impact your rewards.

The amount of StoreCash> you receive depends on the offer you have participated in. Check for StoreCash> rewards amounts and qualifying conditions on the individual product pages of the website. And please remember - you must have an active Digital Wallet prior to purchase of qualifying product/s to be eligible for StoreCash> and meet all qualifying conditions.

StoreCash> rewards for qualifying purchases are paid within 5 business days of your products being collected/delivered. (Note: All items on your receipt must be collected/delivered within 60 days to qualify.)

StoreCash> is paid to your Digital Wallet typically between 11am to 5pm on your payment day (Monday - Friday only, excludes Public holidays).

 

You also need to be opted in to receive marketing communications to be notified on StoreCash> offers and your payments - having your consent means we will always send you an email when StoreCash> is paid into your Digital Wallet.

StoreCash> amounts vary between offers. Some offers may have multiple StoreCash> value tiers that can be earned based on your qualifying purchase. Please review the current StoreCash> offers on our website to make sure your purchase meets the eligibility criteria, along with the StoreCash and Digital Wallet T&C's.

Your Digital Wallet is located in either Apple Wallet or Google Pay on your smartphone.

On Android, tap “Details”, and on iPhone, tap the more information button “…” or “i” to see available StoreCash>. 

Within your Digital Wallet there will be an option to view more information in the details section of your Digital Wallet. You will find your StoreCash> number and pin in this section. With these details you can check out online, show a Team Member in store, or read out the code over the phone to use your StoreCash>.

Depending on the offer and it’s terms and conditions, some StoreCash> can only be redeemed in-store. If you receive StoreCash> with no PIN, just head into your local The Good Guys store where one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist!

For iPhone users, open The Good Guys Digital Wallet. To find your StoreCash > barcode and PIN details you will need to click “…” or “i” in the top right corner and then select “Pass Details” 

 

Android users, open The Good Guys Digital Wallet. To find your StoreCash > barcode and PIN details you will need to click “Details” 

Each StoreCash> will have a unique code and PIN. Use this number in “Payment Method – pay using a gift card, store credit, or StoreCash” during your check out journey. Note that a maximum of two (2) StoreCash>  can be applied to one (1) transaction.

StoreCash> rewards - paid to your Digital Wallet, will expire 90 days from date of issue.

 

StoreCash> cannot be extended or re-activated.

 

To find your StoreCash> expiry date – open your Digital Wallet and tap the ‘more details’ or ‘pass details’ icon to reveal the information for your rewards. 

 

If you can’t make it to one of our stores during this time, not to worry you can still use your StoreCash> on our website or over the phone with our sales team on 1300 942 765.

No. StoreCash> can only be redeemed once - in one transaction.

Sure! If you are present in store with your mobile phone or making the purchase on their behalf online or over the phone it’s great to share with your family members! Please note you may not transfer or sell StoreCash> via any other method.

If you purchased Gold Service Extras prior to 5/9/22, you will continue to receive $20 Store Credits via SMS or Email until you download a Digital Wallet. If you decide to download a Digital Wallet all future $20 payments will be sent as StoreCash> – with an expiry of 90-days.

 

If you purchase Gold Service Extras after 5/9/22, you will need to download your Digital Wallet to receive StoreCash>.

No. As per the Gold Service Extras terms and conditions, your $20 StoreCash> will be issued to your Digital Wallet only. You will need to download a Digital Wallet to your smartphone to receive StoreCash>. 

You will continue to receive your $20 Store Credits on your plans purchased before 5/9/22 by SMS/Email, however, to receive your $20 StoreCash> on your new Gold Service Extras plan purchased after the 5/9/22 you will need to download your Digital Wallet as per the T&C’s & your welcome email.

Yes, you will continue to receive your $20 Store Credits as you usually would if you choose not to download Digital Wallet if you have purchased Gold Service Extras before the 5/9/2022. For purchases after 5/9/2022, you will only receive StoreCash to your Digital Wallet.

The “Offers Available” refer to the current offers that you can shop to earn future StoreCash>. Once you meet the terms and conditions of the offer you will receive fulfilment within 5 days of collection or delivery of a qualifying product.

 

To view the full details of any current offers available, on Android tap “Details”, on iPhone tap the more information button “” or “i” in the top right corner.

If you have completed the Digital Wallet sign-up form and have not received an SMS to install your Digital Wallet, you can chat with us and we’ll be able to assist with the installation process. Alternatively, you can organise for a new SMS to be sent by completing the sign-up form again with the same details you have previously input.

To refresh you Digital Wallet, please follow the steps below:

 

For iPhone users, to refresh your Digital Wallet you will need to click the “” or the “i” in the top right corner and then click “Pass Details”. Once you can see the details of your Digital Wallet, all you need to do is toggle “Automatic Updates” off and then back on.

 

For Android users, to refresh your Digital Wallet you will need to click the profile icon in the top right corner of your wallet. Then click on “Wallet Settings”. Once you can see your Digital Wallet settings, all you need to do is toggle “Updates about your passes” off and then back on.

If you have received an update from us informing you that StoreCash> is available, you may need to refresh your Digital Wallet for your StoreCash> to appear. Refer to How do I refresh my Digital Wallet? for instructions.
