The Good Guys Haier “Up Your Home Game” Competition
(“Competition”)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Promoter is The Good Guys Discount Warehouses (Australia) Pty Ltd, ABN 48 004 880 657, of 60 City Road Southbank, VIC 3006.
2. By submitting an entry into this Competition “you” acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Who can enter
3. Entry into the Competition is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over who have fulfilled the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
4. Employees of the JB Hi-Fi Group and their immediate families and agencies associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter this Competition.

Note: As prices change regularly and we frequently run sales and negotiate on price, the Prize may be lower than this value as at the Entry open date of each prize draw.
Delivery and Installation is included in the prize provided by Haier and is subject to the following:
(a) Delivery and Installation is only available within major metropolitan and regional areas that Haier service covers. To check if you live in a qualifying area, please contact Haier Customer Care on 1300 729 948.
(b) Delivery and Installation cannot be rain checked and must take place by 30 days after winner confirmation.
(c) Connections will only be carried out where the joinery, electrical and plumbing requirements meet those shown in the Haier product installation instructions provided with the selected appliance, or as illustrated for the applicable appliance on the Haier website https://www.haier.com.au/. All electrical wiring and fittings must meet the electrical standard for the appliance being installed as required by the current AS/NZS3000 electrical wiring regulations.
(d) The appliance must be in place adjacent to where it is to be connected regardless of whether the building is a single or multi-level property.
(e) Disconnection, removal and disposal of any old appliance is the responsibility of the winner. The Haier trained and supported service technician will remove all packaging related to the new appliance if requested.
(f) If the Haier trained and supported service technician is unable to complete the connection of the appliance due to the installation not meeting the conditions set out here or the winner not being available for installation within the agreed upon time frames, a charge may apply to complete the connection.
(g) The Haier trained and supported service technician will not install the front on integrated models.
(h) The winner will receive an email with detailed instructions for booking installation. The winner can submit a preferred date and time for delivery and installation by following the link provided in this email. If the winner’s selected date and time is available, the winner will be sent an email confirming the booking. If the winner’s selected date or time is unavailable, the winner will be contacted by a Customer Care representative within 2 - 3 business days to reschedule the booking. If the Haier trained and supported service technician does not arrive on the agreed day/time of installation, please contact Haier Customer Care on 1300 650 590.
5. To enter the Competition and be eligible to win the Prize as set out above, entrants must:
6. Visit the https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/buying-guide/haier-kitchen-range-buying-guide between 9:00am AEDT 15/01/2026 and 11:59pm AEDT 01/02/2026 (“Competition Period”);
7. Complete the entry form during the Competition Period, including full name, valid email address, postcode and mobile number; and
8. Opt in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter at the time of entry by clicking box and stay opted in to receive marketing material until the final redraw date 10:00am AEDT 16/02/2026.
9. Maximum one entry, per entrant will be accepted during the Competition Period.
Determination of Winner and Notification
10. There will be one winner randomly drawn at 10:00am AEDT 13/02/2026 (“Draw Date”). The draw will be conducted at the Promoter’s premises at 60 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006. The Promoter may draw an alternative entry as the winner in the event that the winner cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions.
11. The winner of the Prize will be notified via phone and email within two business days of the Draw Date. The winner’s surname, postcode and initial will be published on The Good Guys website within two business days of the Draw Date at www.thegoodguys.com.au/winners.
12. If a winner does not meet these Terms and Conditions, that winner will forfeit the Prize and a redraw will take place at 10:00am AEDT 26/02/2026 at the Promoter’s premises at 60 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006. Redraw winners will be notified via phone and email within two business days of redraw date. Only one redraw will be conducted. The redraw winner’s surname, initial and postcode will be published on The Good Guys website within two business days of the redraw date at www.thegoodguys.com.au/winners.
13. The Prize will be issued to the winner within 30 days from the relevant Draw Date, or if a redraw winner within 30 days from the redraw date.
14. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence).
15. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Publicity and Privacy
16. The Promoter’s privacy policy (available on The Good Guys’ website at: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/privacy-policy) and contains information about how the Promotor will handle your personal information, and other information required to be disclosed to you under the Privacy Act. You should read this policy before providing any personal information to The Promoter.
17. By entering this Competition, you consent to:
i. being contacted by The Good Guys for the purpose of Prize fulfilment; and
ii. The Good Guys publishing your name (initial, postcode and last name) on The Good Guys website at www.thegoodguys.com.au, and you consent to providing us your personal information for this purpose.
Limitation of liability and variation of promotion
18. Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy or other obligation implied by any law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law) which cannot by law be excluded, restricted or modified.
19. Subject to State or Territory regulation, if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, any aspect of this Competition is incapable of running as planned (including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure), or a change is required to ensure the safety of the Promoter, its representatives and of entrants, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Competition, invalidate any affected entries and suspend or modify a Prize. Changes may include the timing of the drawing or redrawing, and the timing of any Prize fulfilment. The Promoter will act reasonably and in good faith in making any such decision. Except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence, or the Promoter’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law, the Promoter will not be liable to any entrant for loss resulting from such action.
20. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation are reserved and any winner found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or having engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition may be required to return any Prize received.
21. Except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence, or the Promoter’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered by an entrant or potential entrant to the extent:
i. resulting from or connected with any inability of a person to submit an entry (on time or at all), or failure of the Promoter to provide an opportunity to enter or to receive an entry (on time or at all), or failure of a winner to receive a Prize, due to events outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter including, without limitation, as a result of problems with, or technical malfunction of, any software, telephone or computer network, equipment or systems or mail or courier service;
ii. that arises from events outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter but within the reasonable control of the entrant or potential entrant, including the Promoter’s inability to contact a winner using reasonable efforts for the purpose of Prize fulfilment; or
iii. that arises as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant or potential entrant.
