The Good Guys NINJA CRISPI INSTAGRAM Competition
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The Promoter is The Good Guys Discount Warehouses (Australia) Pty Ltd, ABN 48 004 880 657, of 60 City Road Southbank, VIC 3006.
2. By submitting an entry into this Competition “you” acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Who can enter
3. Entry into the Competition is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over who have fulfilled the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.
4. Entrants must be following The Good Guys on Instagram @thegoodguysau and continue to follow The Good Guys’ Instagram page until winners are notified.
5. Employees (and their immediate families) of the JB Hi-Fi Group and agencies associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter this Competition.
Prizes and Entry Method into the Competition
6. There are two Ninja Crispi 4-in-1 Portable Air Fryers in Cyberspace (FN101GY) to win, valued at $249, being the ticketed/advertised price of the relevant product at The Good Guys as at 23/02/26 (each a “Prize”). Total prize pool value of $498.
7. To enter the Competition and be eligible to win a Prize as set out above, entrants must:
I. between 24/02/2026 09:00am AEDT and 09/03/2026 11:59pm AEDT (“Competition Period”)
i. Be following The Good Guys on Instagram;
ii. Locate the Enter to Win a Ninja Crispi competition post;
iii. Tell us in the comments what recipe the entrant would try if they had the Ninja Crispi; and
II. continue to follow The Good Guys on Instagram @thegoodguysau until winners are notified.
8. Maximum of one entry per entrant will be accepted during the Competition Period.
9. Entrants must enter under their own Instagram account.
Winner Determination and Notification
10. The two best valid entries received, as determined by the judges, will each win a Prize.
11. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each valid entry will be individually judged (by representatives of the Promoter) based on creativity.
12. The judging will be conducted at the Promoter’s premises at 60 City Road, Southbank VIC 3006. The Promoter may judge an alternative entry as the winner in the event that the winner cannot satisfy these Terms and Conditions.
13. Winners will be notified via Instagram direct message on 13/03/2026 (“Notification Date”).
14. The winner’s surname, initial and postcode will be published on the Promoter’s website within two business days of the Notification Date at www.thegoodguys.com.au/winners and the winner must supply this information for this purpose.
15. The Prize must be claimed by 5pm AEDT 16/03/2026 (“Claim Date”).
16. If a Prize is not claimed by the Claim Date, that winner will forfeit the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the next best entry that has not already received a Prize, as determined by the judges. Winners of re-awarded prizes will be notified via Instagram direct message on 23/03/2026 (“Re-awarded Notification Date”). The re-awarded Prize winner’s surname, initial and postcode will be published on the Promoter’s website within two business days of the Re-awarded Notification Date at www.thegoodguys.com.au/winners and the re-awarded winner must supply this information for this purpose.
17. The Prize will be issued to the winners within 20 business days from the relevant Notification Date or Re-awarded Notification Date.
18. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence and social media profile).
19. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
Publicity and Privacy
20. The Promoter’s privacy policy (available on The Good Guys’ website at: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/privacy-policy) contains information about how the Promotor will handle your personal information, and other information required to be disclosed to you under the Privacy Act. You should read this policy before providing any personal information to the Promoter.
21. By entering the Competition, you consent to:
i. being contacted by the Promoter for the purpose of administering the Competition and Prize fulfilment; and
ii. the Promoter publishing your name (initial, last name and postcode) and information relating to your Competition entry on The Good Guys website at www.thegoodguys.com.au and on The Good Guys’ Instagram page; and you consent to providing us your personal information for such purposes.
Entrant’s entry
22. The entrant’s entry must be the entrant’s original work. By entering the Competition, entrants:
i. represent and warrant that they own or have the right to licence the copyright in their entry;
ii. consent to the Promoter using or publishing the whole or any part of their entry (including in modified form) and otherwise exploiting the entry and any rights in relation to the entry for any purpose;
iii. grant the Promoter a worldwide, royalty free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable licence (with a right of sublicence) to use their entry for any purpose;
iv. represent and warrant that their entry, and its use by the Promoter does not, and will not, breach any third party rights (including without limitation, with respect to privacy, intellectual property and defamation); and
v. consent to the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, removing any entry once published on the Promoter’s social media page, or amending, editing or modifying the entry (or any part thereof).
Limitation of liability and variation of promotion
23. Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy or other obligation implied by any law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law) which cannot by law be excluded, restricted or modified.
24. The Promoter may communicate or advertise the Competition using Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms. However, the Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with those social media platforms. To the extent permitted by law, each entrant agrees to release, and hold harmless, Instagram, Facebook and all other social media platforms, from any liability to the entrant in respect of the entrant’s participation in the Competition.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition or if such amendment, cancellation or suspension is required to ensure the safety of the Promoter, its representatives and of entrants. Such changes may include the timing of the drawing or redrawing, and the timing of any Prize fulfilment. The Promoter will act reasonably and in good faith in making any such decision. Except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence, or the Promoter’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law, the Promoter will not be liable to any entrant for loss resulting from such action.
26. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation are reserved and any winner found to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions or having engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition may be required to return any Prize received.
27. Except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence, or the Promoter’s breach of these Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss suffered by an entrant or potential entrant to the extent:
i. resulting from or connected with any inability of a person to submit an entry (on time or at all), or failure of the Promoter to provide an opportunity to enter or to receive an entry (on time or at all), or failure of a winner to receive a Prize, due to events outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter including, without limitation, as a result of problems with, or technical malfunction of, any software, telephone or computer network, equipment or systems or mail or courier service;
ii. that arises from events outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter but within the reasonable control of the entrant or potential entrant, including the Promoter’s inability to contact a winner using reasonable efforts for the purpose of Prize fulfilment; or
iii. that arises as a result of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant or potential entrant.
