It's easy staying connected when separating on the biking trail, from the camp site, or just out walking. These walkie talkies are compact enough to carry, to attach to a backpack or belt, and fun to use so the kids will want to stay in touch.
Communicate within a line-of-sight range of around 3 kilometres, or to break through the shielding effect of buildings in the way, press the Duplex key to access available local repeater stations and communicate without barriers.
When you're ready to transmit, press the side Push-to-Talk button and speak in your normal conversational voice when "TX" appears on the display. Then release and wait for a response.
This walkie talkie won't cut out on you. Depending on how much transmitting you do, it'll stay powered up for around 20 hours, auto power saves if you haven't transmitted within 3 seconds, and a battery low indicator alerts you when it's time to replace.
