Every week we bring you 'As Advertised' specials, available for a limited time, so you Pay Less
Compact and handheld; this walkie talkie keeps you connected with a family member or friend when temporarily separating while bike riding, hiking, on a camping trip, or just out walking.
You'll get a line-of-sight range of around three kilometres, or to break through the shielding effect of buildings in the way, activate Duplex mode to access available local repeater stations and communicate without obstruction.
You don't need to shout to be heard. Simply press the side push-to-talk button and when "TX" appears on the display, speak in your normal conversational voice and then release and wait for a response.
This walkie talkie won't cut out on you. Depending on how much transmitting you do, it'll stay powered for around 20 hours, auto power saves if you haven't transmitted within 3 seconds, and a battery low indicator alerts you when it's time to replace.
